Cops Injured
Looks like their car was hit by a stolen vehicle....that may have been pursued?
Two police officers and a pedestrian were hurt in brief police chase involving a reportedly stolen car in Rogers Park, Chicago police said.
CPD said officers saw a red Toyota sedan that had been reported stolen at about 7:14 p.m. on Friday in the 7400-Block of N. Sheridan Road.
Officers tried to pullover the driver in the 2000-Block of W. Birchwood Avenue, but the fled the scene and crashed into an unmarked CPD vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota also crashed into a light-colored Volkswagen SUV, causing the SUV to go onto a curb and strike a 24-year-old male pedestrian.
We can't even....whatever....until the political atmosphere changes, why even bother running plates unless the car is parked, unoccupied and doesn't have a City Sticker or some other compliance violation?

Stop making reports for a stolen vehicle. Instead, 19P advised person who can’t find their vehicle to call insurance company.
Actually wasn’t pursued this time.
Stop chasing.
Start suspending officers that do.
