Beware OEMC

Supposedly, there's a rather entrenched cockroach infestation on the 3rd floor, where dispatchers and call takers work. We're told the city has hired an exterminator company to spray and bait the entire floor this week.

This on top of an additional cockroach infestation at 35th/Michigan, also on the 3rd floor.

We can only assume the bugs are afraid of heights and won't travel past 3.

I remember when the place first opened the dispatchers said it was a big NO, NO to have any food at the work place.

Oh well, I guess savages do whatever savages do.
Disgusting.

I suspect large women who live with roaches carry dirty bags stuffed with snacks from home to these locations, causing the roach problem.

Unreal! This reminds me of the bed bug infestation at 35th where they were wearing hazmat suits to work.

Be nice when commenting about call takers and dispatchers instead of alienating them because they arent dropping dimes on the blog about whats happening in there.

I watch the church ladies carry their bagage everyday from home to their consoles. It looks like they're setting up for a camping trip. The best is when they cook raw fish or chicken in air friers stinking up the whole place. It gives the state of the art OEMC a nice scent of west side.

Looks like some Super Timor applied by Vanco Pest Control Solutions should take care of the issue. Mr Panos will testify that it worked well at his Baby Socrates diner.

The bedbugs on the 3rd floor are being brought in, over and over again, by the same person. The question is, why let this person in the building.

Half the time some of these dispatchers talk with food in their mouths!! Ever see what these dispatchers look like?? Good thing they are heard and not seen.

The infestation at 35th is not cockroaches. It is bedbugs. Had them for years and the department refuses to do anything but useless spraying. Pest company is making a lot of money. Time to place some bed bugs on 5 and see how fast they take care of them.

Have you heard also so many garbage trucks broken down, and the city cutting back pick-ups especially for the nonsense "recycling" program that brandon cannot figure out! The ctu indoctrination center used taxpayers millions to buy the mayors office for the "big dummy!"

In the old CC room at 11th and state you had all kinds of pest infestation. Going out to the parking lot south of the building at night you would see dozens of rats scurrying about. Mice running around the old CC room. I remember the poop overflow from central detention down to floors below instead of fixing the problem, just moved some offices down a few floors. And the fruit flies or what ever, in the washrooms you might have been in a tropical jungle.
