Deportation Efforts

These will be/are being distributed to all supervisors in an effort to keep them from assisting ICE with any deportation efforts. While a few of these things are administrative in nature, there are a few others that could run afoul of federal law and oaths of office taken by CPD, not to mention common sense.
If Conehead is going to try to get cops to take his place in the I.C.E. Deportation Train, we would be sure the Officers have appropriate union legal advice on hand....and this bit of information:

Didn’t we all take an oath to support all laws and the constitution of the state & federal gov and to defend the state from all violators? Something to that affect? And further isn’t it the officers duty and obligation to assist a person asking for assistance? Imagin going down 26th St and having a Hispanic person walk up to you and ask for help and you asking if they are illegal immigrants and refusing to help in anyway.
Does this mean if a illegal immigrant is found dead on the street and a YS agent of sorts is present and verifies that the victim is an illegal immigrant we can walk away and not conduct an investigation or touch the body?
I would love to see Tom Holman arrest BLM Brandon and JB Lizzo.
All I know is if I or a family member is a victim of any illegal immigrant offender, I will be filing a lawsuit naming Brandon Johnson and the like in the lawsuit.

Don’t rely on any supervisor of any rank to give you sound lawful advice when you could run afoul of federal law being enforced. The won’t be there to make your mortgage payment or any other bills you and your family may have. This is obviously an effort to thwart Trump’s enforcement of our nation’s immigration laws. Why is it not signed by Superintendent Sniveling? Afraid? Smart? Apparently unenforceable because there is no signature and no way of telling who is giving the orders. Do the police follow orders from everyone in public service or just from their own agency and higher rank. Can the Nayor legally give the police an order? How about Stacy the Mayor’s wife? So the department's official policy is to actively interfere with immigration investigations and harbor and assist those breaking federal laws? Seems legit. I hope conehead and pigster end up in federal custody while all the illegals get shipped back home.

I always contacted ICE to give them the heads up of anyone arrested and in our lock up, they were always polite and grateful. I knew of a couple ASAs who would also contact ICE of any impeding releases.

I retired the first quarter of 2024 and during my 30 year career I spent 10 of it on Tact. During that 10 year we worked hand in hand with FBI, DEA, ATF and State Police with arrests, sting operations and investigations. I made arrests with those agencies and assisted them in many functions. All our Tact teams did this. Today we even assign CPD members to those agency task force and our members report to them and their buildings and do this for years. SOOOO since when don't we suddenly work with the FEDS. And yes it is a violation of our oath to turn a blind eye.

Don’t know about anybody else, but if you’ve ever sat in a federal courtroom. You know what it’s like sorry will not stand in the way will assist anyway possible that is what we do. We follow the constitution we follow the law hopefully Brandon and the governor stand in the way and Tom Holman arrests and throws both that I’m into the penitentiary where they belong! Recognizing that police as a group may have different ideas on how to handle this but what about collective action. What exactly is Johnson going to do if 80% + of the police ignore this BS and assist ICE? I would think anyone fired or otherwise retaliated against would have a decent fed lawsuit ala covid vaccine mandate. Seems to me that there is very little he could do if you all stood together...as difficult as that might be. years back when the city started all this I had an ICE agent on speed dial. He was great to deal with. I would just give him the offenders info and he would take it from there.

L.A. mayor Karen Bass would not return calls to NYFD when they offered additional manpower to assist L.A. NYFD firefighters had problems with real I.D.s and TSA regulations which do not allow for prohibited items such as reflective rubber trench coats, halligan hooks and axes onto the aircraft. Oregon firefighters were stopped at the California's environmentally controlled border as they did not possess current California emission testing stickers as required by California's many Environmental Controlling authorities. You cannot have a non-compliant CO2 emitting fire rig emitting pollution at a 26K + acre out of control smoky wildfire while conducting firefighting duties. Firefighting rigs operating at raging infernos contributing to smog and ozone depletion disregarding environmental air quality laws defeats the absolute necessity of emission control regulations. Emergency equipment are not exempt as the earth is warming and burning up.
Meanwhile Gov. Gavin Newscumm allows Mexican Firefighters Without Borders to cross into the Republic of California without a TSA like real I.D. check. No customs inspections, no pollution control compliance of their trucks as this international force is exempt from border inspections and border controls under a United Nations charter.

All the reason(s) I needed - as I intended anyway - to ignore any and all policies put forth by the City and department. I WILL be cooperating with ICE and any other federal agency who might request my assistance. AND, I’ll be proactively providing said agencies with any intel I “happen to stumble across” while working the desk and doing the court packets.
