New Orleans - terror attack and un-detonated bombs.
Las Vegas - successful detonation of an IED.
Now, a third IED (attempted) bombing, this time in Idaho that few media outlets are covering:
Police halted train activity for hours after footprints in the snow led officers to an explosive device on a train car on New Year’s Day.
The Payette Police Department said it received a report “regarding a suspicious subject” who was seen “attempting to light something on fire” near a parked railroad car in the 600 Block of North 8th Street in Payette.
Officers arriving at the scene just before 6 p.m. found fresh footprints leading to a train car that had a “suspected undetonated improvised explosive device,” also known as an IED, a Payette Police Department news release said.
In two of the cases (Vegas and Idaho), the suspects don't appear to fit the expected profile. And after four years of uncontrolled border invasion, the country and its law enforcement agencies have no idea who or what is currently roaming the country.
Be very very careful and situationally aware Officers.

I find it especially interesting that the two suspects are ex US military.
Thanks Joe and Kammy for allowing so many terrorists into our country. Mark my words, when the attacks start happening regularly they will blame Trump. Also the deficit and the atrocious economy will be his fault as the dems do everything in their power to sabotage trump.

What is the command in military teaching its soldiers is my question...
We have terrorists that have come over the border. We have leftist lunatics who hate Trump, hate rich people, CEOs, conservatives and Jews. They've been given the green light to do what they want. Don't count out the pro terrorist people that have been out in the streets since October 7th, 2023. You never know whos grooming these attendees to commit future acts of terrorism.

Something jumped out at me while watching the news conference on the Vegas bom. They said that the bomber died from a self inflicted gunshot shot wound before the bomb detonated. They followed right behind that with saying the body was burned beyond recognition.
How can both of these be true?
I am not going to claim to have the experience as many of the readers here who have examined thousands of bodies over the years. But in my limited experience if the skin is burned beyond recognition, then the burn marks on the skin that would indicate the gun was in contact with, or close to the skin when it was fired would slo be burnt away.
So can anyone with more knowledge than me explain that part, or does this story really not add up?

I believe we stopped really doing background checks for military post iraq/afgan right? I could be wrong.... many folks in the military, much like our job, that shouldn't be!

Footprints in the snow have led to many arrests.
The American military is an arm of the DC junta. Obama started the process of corruption and his demented sock puppet put the pedal to metal. Leadership needs to be purged, defunding needs to happen. The US does not need a large standing army. Especially one filled with miscreants and led by traitors. That large standing ground force is a threat to the American people. America is a seapower that needs a global navy and a massive nuclear deterrent.

Reports say he had wife problems and had just returned from Germany. Also doubted it was planned in advance. A decorated green beret would have had more expertise in explosives, not throw a few firecrackers together with a can of gasoline.

There's cameras everywhere in Vegas. They probably had him on video alive in the car, then found him dead with a bullet in his head after the fire. I'm sure they found a gun in the car. Since nobody else was in the car with him, it's a pretty obvious conclusion.
The guy in Vegas has five Bronze Stars, one with a Valor device and an Army Commendation Medal with a Valor device. I know several guys that served with him. I know his bosses. He arrived at 10th SF when I was retiring. By all accounts, excellent soldier, great guy. Just had a kid with second wife.
Before Afghanistan and Iraq, we had a suicide every year or so. Nowadays, we have one quarterly.

I think the gun was found near his right foot and even if his skin was melted off his skull would show the gunshot wound. I don’t know if they can pinpoint exactly how close the weapon was to his head when it was fired, but they can surmise both from eyewitness accounts and forensic evidence that the guy shot himself immediately prior to detonation. They know he drove himself to the Trump hotel, parked the vehicle by the front door, shot himself and the bomb went off. There would have been valets and bellmen in the vicinity of the vehicle, and I believe seven people were injured in the blast/fire, so there were witnesses.
I got a kick out of reading the news report from Idaho. They found the bomb because there were footprints in the snow leading to the train car. They found the perp by following footprints in the snow from the train car to his home.
It reminded me of a couple of bank robberies that happened back when I was a bank manager. The perps lived in the neighborhoods around the branches, walked through the snow to get to the banks, then ran home. The cops simply followed the footprints in the snow. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to solve when your perps are idiots.

The dead man was found inside the truck cab, presumably with a bullet in his head and the gun in his hand. Also presumably, CCTV shows the truck driving up to the front of the hotel, and no one getting in or out of it before the explosion.

Guy in Vegas was not a terrorist. He noted in his phone he did it to get attention or no one will notice. He supported Trump and also noted the country was out of control. His wife left him 6 days before the incident. Think about it this way Long time special forces knew how to use explosives but the fireworks in the car damaged nothing except the car and a few people received minor injuries. Also he purchased a handgun a day or two before , not an AR15 that he knew how to use and could have killed a lot of people His was a suicide to attract attention to the problems in the country.
