Media Slander

We noticed in a comment section that a certain citizen was actually blaming the police for the little girl getting run over by Lincoln Park Zoo. Not only does this speak to the ignorance of the citizenry of our fair city, it also belies the underlying hostility the media in general has toward the police that they would actually air this crap. Kind of like reporters finding the loudest and most obnoxious "witness" or close "relative" of various offenders who were shot by the police in justifiable incidents and then airing the most completely vile and erroneous slanders about "unarmed," "shot in the back," or "completely innocent."

When the Revolution comes and we finish off all the lawyers, the only reason we won't have done the media FIRST is because we need them to broadcast to the world what will befall anyone who attempts to become a lawyer in the future. Too bad no one will be around to record what we do to the media afterwards.

As if any police are surprised...I'd shit myself if the media ever printed what really happened at any incident. But as usual, lets blame the police instead of blaming the driver of the car that hit the kid, and then drove off. Somehow all of the evils of the world are our fault, Next thing you know, those fucking yuppies are going to blame famine, and the plague on us, goddamn yuppie scum! Any way we can get an 18th Dist Car to let a few bears, lions, tigers, and any other large "Man Eaters" out of the cages at the zoo, maybe take care of a few of those jags???

It's funny how some seem to think that becomming a "lawyer" means you're so smart. Any idiot can be a lawyer. All you have to do is have the money to enroll in a school for the mildly retarded, go to class, study, and pass the bar after 2,3,4 tries! They're are more lawyers in this country than truck drivers. Lawyers are the reason insurance rates are so high and law enforcement has their hands tied!

So why are you here if you passed the bar? Perhaps it's because it took you 4 times (kinda like King Richard) to pass.

Or maybe you have the personality of a slug and no decent law firm would have you. Internship didn't go quite right? Or are you just a assh*le who gets off throwing the fact that you're a lawyer in every coppers face?

I worked as a paralegal before I came on this job, to determine if I really wanted to be a lawyer. After working for a bunch of stuck-up, thieving, back stabbing jerks for a few years, I said, "Hell f*ckin' no!"

So go pat yourself on the back and go back to writing parkers...goof.

Try this on for size. Come change day (Thurs) Melissa Staples is going to be the new HGS Lt. in Area 4. I guess being a lesbian, living with Dean Andrews and being meritortiously promoted (twice, I think) is the way to go these days.

Forget studying, just tell everybody that you live an alternative lifestyle and you're in!

My sources tell me that she was on Petersen's shit list when she got promoted. She had a little problem with coming to work. Nobody knew what watch she worked or what DOG she was in.

And don't get folks started on how she ran the Sex office.

I hear some of the HGS Sgts and a few of the Dets are already looking for a way out of there.

Another brilliant move.

Cops shoot suspect on S. Side

Tribune staff reports
Published May 23, 2006, 2:21 AM CDT

Chicago police shot and wounded a suspect about 10 p.m. Monday on the South Side while investigating a quadruple shooting from Saturday night, police spokesman Pat Camden said.

The suspect, who twice fled police and was found in a garbage bin, was in serious condition after police fired at him on two occasions, Camden said.

Police received a tip about the previous shooting and pulled over a car carrying three people in the 200 block of East 70th Street, and the man, described as black and about 25, exited the car with a sawed-off .22-caliber rifle, Camden said.

He ignored a police command to drop the rifle, and a detective shot him, Camden said. The suspect fell to the ground, dropped the rifle and two revolvers, and fled. The two other passengers escaped, police said.

Police encountered the gunman again nearby, and he displayed a fourth firearm, Camden said. Police eventually fired at him again and he fled.

A bloody jacket was found and a 911 call led police to a garbage canister at 69th Place and Prairie Avenue.

The suspect was found and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

Police were investigating the Saturday night shooting in the 300 block of East 68th Street that killed one man and wounded three people. The gunman had fired on four people after a quarrel, police said.

Photo-enforcement vans roam the Ryan

By Jon Hilkevitch
Tribune transportation reporter
Published May 22, 2006, 9:07 PM CDT

Three white vans outfitted with high-resolution cameras are nabbing drivers who violate the 45 m.p.h. speed limit in Illinois highway construction zones, triggering $375 tickets and a court summons by certified mail, officials said Monday.

The mass-enforcement effort netted hundreds of speeders on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Saturday, the first day that Illinois State Police troopers in a van used the cameras and radar guns.

Use of the new policing tool is likely to greatly increase the 5,000 speeding tickets issued to drivers on the Ryan since the expressway reconstruction project started last month, said State Police Capt. Peter Negro.

He said the main goal is getting drivers to slow down, not trying to rake in money for the state through rapid-fire ticketing.

Authorities say they hope to enhance safety by convincing lead-footed drivers that the odds of getting away with speeding are now against them.

If that fails, officials expressed confidence that the ticketing program, authorized under a new state law aimed at putting the brakes on rampant speeding in work zones, will be upheld in court.

The Illinois program is being launched after officials studied photo enforcement in communities in several other states. But Illinois' three photo vans represent the first statewide effort in the U.S. to use the technology, said State Trooper Jeff Darko, who was involved in the planning.

In addition to the van on the Ryan, a second van is being deployed this week in work zones on the Kingery Expressway and the Illinois Tollway system, starting on the southern portion of the Tri-State Tollway (Interstate Highway 294), Negro said. The vans eventually will patrol other Chicago-area work zones.

State troopers on motorcycles are also patrolling construction zones to catch speeders and aggressive drivers, part of the multi-faceted campaign to reduce the number of accidents and squelch widespread speeding, officials said.

"Speeding in construction zones is one of the primary reasons people are killed," Illinois Transportation Secretary Timothy Martin said.

There were 26 fatalities, including a construction worker, in work-zone accidents statewide last year, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.

The 45 m.p.h. construction-zone speed limit and $375 fine are in effect around the clock, but the photo-enforcement vans are used only when workers are present, officials said.

The photo process is triggered automatically when the radar detects a speeding vehicle. One camera photographs the driver; a second camera shoots the license plate. One trooper in the van supervises the process.

Drivers receive a ticket showing their speed recorded by radar, the location of the violation, copies of the photos and the date of a mandatory court appearance. Convictions are reported to the secretary of state's office, and they go on a driver's record.

"Their insurance rates will go up," Martin said.

The fine increases to $1,000 and a 90-day driver's license suspension for subsequent violations under the tougher work-zone speeding fines. The fines had been $200 for a first offense, increasing to $350 for a second violation.

The program differs from the cameras placed at some Chicago intersections to record drivers running red lights. Those violations are treated similar to a parking ticket. Violators can pay the fine or request an administrative hearing.

The vans are parked on shoulders of work zones. Tickets are not issued while the vans are moving, officials said.

The new law requires signs to be posted informing motorists of photo enforcement ahead. But the vans are designed to record the speed of a car from as far as 180 feet away, leaving little time for drivers to reduce speed after spotting a white van.

The law also mandates that tickets be sent by certified mail to drivers within six business days of the violation.

It takes one state trooper an average of 15 minutes to write up one speeding violation; the photo speed-enforcement vans are capable of identifying hundreds of speeding vehicles per hour, officials said.

Authorities declined to say how much over the 45 m.p.h. construction zone speed limit would lead to a ticket.

The primary requirements for a ticket, under legislation passed in late 2004, are clear photographs of the faces of speeding drivers and the vehicle license plates, they said.

On Saturday, about 250 speeding violations were recorded just in the first 2½ hours the van was in operation on the Dan Ryan, Negro said.

Two of the three photo speed-enforcement vans are being rolled out in Cook County first—the other van is Downstate—following meetings between law-enforcement officials and chief judges in the county. The vans eventually will be used in highway construction zones across the Chicago region, officials said.

"We are hopeful most of these tickets will be upheld in court," Martin said.

The three vans are being leased under a contract with ACS State and Local Solutions at a cost of $2,950 per month per van, plus a processing fee of $15 per ticket, according to IDOT. State agencies involved in the project decided to lease the vans rather than purchase the equipment to be able to take advantage of improvements in the technology, said Darko, the state trooper.

This year Chicago unveiled a high-tech sport-utility vehicle that can read the license plates of 3,600 vehicles hourly to check for stolen vehicles, unpaid traffic tickets and people wanted by police.

There are no plans to lease additional speed-enforcement vans, but the state will consider expanding the fleet if more are needed, said IDOT spokesman Mike Claffey.

The vans, which authorities originally had planned to deploy last year, are patrolling construction zones as the eighth week begins on the $600 million Ryan project.

Growing up in the 70's, I can still remember the sight of Chicago Cops walking around with the leather jackets and rifles. They were respected and you didn't fvck with them.

Now, morale is so low because the Dept. rarely takes a stand supporting you in a strong voice let alone the city settling lawsuits when instead they should fight to make a statement that these frivolous lawsuits will not be tolerated.

Instead, the city gets sued and settles, hence these goofs getting money because the city wants to wash their hands of it quickly.

When this happens, how does it look? It looks as if the police are at fault all because they city settled.

I have met some of you, and can sense the frustration, some of you truly caring about what you do. Especially being short officers on the street. I have even recently seen how some officers could have gotten hurt because of the lack of officers out here.

It's people like you on the streets that I respect. You're the ones out here each and every day having to deal with this. Some of us out here know that and thank you...

Did someone say revolution and lawyers? Careful what you wish for kid, without lawyers there is nobody to prosecute or judge your arrests. Nobody to defend your arrestees. Nobody to defend YOU, nobody to charge somebody who attacks YOU, nobody to judge somebody who attacks YOU.

Oh, you got screwed in your closing? Your wife took the kids and ran from your miserable looser life?

And then there is the problem of what you will do with the numerous lawyers who straddle the fence with backup professions, like sergeant!

Face it boys, this is the truth, and its a truth you can't handle.

Son, we live in a world that has laws. And those laws have to be guarded by men with books. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Officer Weinberg? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Burge and you curse the taxpayers. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know... And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves lives...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me and the law. You need me and the law.

We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a book and stand in my shoes. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you'll do in a revolution!

Now get back to work, and lose the belly!

Yours truly,

Insergeant! Esq.

You know what a lawyer is?.....someone who is too stupid to be a doctor or hold a real job! And by the way, yer ma has the belly! You might wanna sue Mcdonalds for her becoming the fat-ass she is! For instance Greg Kulis who has made a life for himself (and probably a very good one) representing scum who want to sue the City. These are frivolous law suits and the city settles quickly because it is cheaper than going through court. My family attorny is wonderful he has saved me lots in closings etc however it is sad he is in the minority. Problem is the judges are lawyers and run the courts oh and by the way there are lot of polititians who are lawyers and don't they make the laws.. Hmm perhaps this might be seen as self sustaining. Scum making sure scum make a living.

10:23, I would, but I don't work at the State's Attorneys office, nor for the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois.

Believe me, I would in a heartbeat.

Again though, the heart of the problem is the political system here. Devine (whose son is an apparent beneficiary of this system) is in league with Daley. They are part and parcel of a system that panders for the maximum votes in exchange for the maximum graft.

Let me ask YOU a question. If Harold Washington, faults and all, came back today, would YOU get behind him? My recollection is, in Mt. Greenwood, every single law enforcement person I knew in those days just saw black.

And as long as Daley and the machine can count on YOUR support for such stupid reasons, than your complaint really doesn't have much to do with lawyers. In fact, you are part of the solution to the problem you raise.

Get honest politicians and an honest system, and than you can expect the legal profession as represented by the Cook County State's Attorney to actually help you enforce the law. Til then, lawyers as a class are no more accountable than YOU are for not standing up to the midget and his neighborhood minions.

Which begs the question. Who is today's Harold Washington? Who can WE get behind? Because WE sure as hell need somebody.

Lt.Maples A4VC, NOW WHAT

This is another vote of no confidence for the ignorant slut MAHER SHE?MAN who is the chief of detectives. We are so fed up with these people placed in the detective division with no experience as the police, and especially no experience in the detective division were it is absolutely necessary to be the police to help and save the working men and women of the CPD.

Maher has placed more eight year veteran (total time yoj) sergeants in the areas and 13 year (total time) Lts veterancs in the command staff.

In my area we have never yet met the Chief of Detectives. Under her command I no longer can get into the gun screen, I cannot excess the computer services which track identities, and transactions, ie to locate wanted people(ACCURINT/ ETC)

I work afternoons on an early car but cannot start my job because the computers are tied up by the patrolmen(ego trips) assigned to organized crime/narcotics/scab labor, merits in waiting, poaching the resources of the detective division, looking at our confidential files because MAHER says its okay. Well Maher what experience do you patronage Lts. Graber/Cervanka from narcotics have taking over criminal investigations looking at and removing the investigative files?

Has Maher ever been to a Detective Division Area????? You know Maria the places where your employees work?

Jesus will return before Maher shows up at a crime scene, Area roll call or better yet a police shooting. She is an expert on homicides because she went to a wake once and saw a corpse. How about the two year all star detectives added to her staff, like ponney boy, and doughnut bitch?

Stop calling with you bullshit when you read the 24 hour report, how about allowing us some time to follow up and conduct thorough investigations. Ponney boy calls with his penile gang information, hey penis boy, every one is a gang member police boy. Read some more Joe Wambuagh books to your dumb bitch Chief of Dicks. Rent some more police movies, you patronage fag.

At least Malloy had balls minus a personality. Even Ivanjack had some basic knowledge of the Detective Division.

Every Area in this city is in the toilet, thank you Chief Maher, this was once the greatest job in the world, thank you for ruining the CPD, your moves today are going to f/up the workin police for the next 30 years. I ought to name all the patronage eight year sergeants added in the last year to all five areas, and their stupid mistakes, how the blue shirts have been f/over by the incompetent information provided by these a/holes..

Fuck the lawyers and the politicians!

Alderscum Vi Daley (43rd) said regarding the death of the little girl "I think it's an enforcement issue. The stop signs are there. The law says you have to stop at a stop sign,SO I THINK WE HAVE TO GET AFTER THE POLICE TO START ENFORCING THIS"

Why is everything always our fault?

If we pull this asshat alderscum over for blowing the stop sign, we would probably get the congressman Kennedy excuse of "I am late for a vote!"

Just maybe it was the fault of the driver of the black lexus.

Hey maybe we should round up all owners of black Lexus vehicles, line them up against "the bean" in Millenium Park and EXECUTE them!

I mean don't these ass-wipes think about how stupid they sound at times, placing blame or enacting "knee jerk reaction" legislation.

I mean let's get real. We could enforce no license or insurance in certain districts, all-day-long and it would accomplish nothing but get the media and certain "alder/revs" upset at the police for picking on their constituents!

I think you are being a bit defensive here. How do you interpret a statement that begins "WE HAVE TO" as something that blames the police solely?

The "we have to" part certainly is interpreted as an admission that whatever they (aldermen) were doing before was not good enough. Who knows. Perhaps this means they will actually take a look at the police department to see how resources are allocated! Maybe they can pull the 65% who aren't riding around in beat cars and get some of them to enforce traffic laws in LP.

I have worked under Steve Peterson's reign of terror in Area 4 since he arrived. His advance billing from the Det's that worked the floor with him years before was that the dogs better leave because the "Screaming Skull" rewards workers and terrorizes the lazy. Well two and a half years later we have yet to get rid of any dogs. Plenty of workers have bailed because of his insanity. There are still some outstanding Det's working here, but the ones he chased away, left in such numbers, that they are impossible to replace. In the last two periods we lost 5 all-stars from HGS to do-nothing units. Why? Because they wanted to escape the insanity. The guy fucking micro-manages your investigation down to the signature block on your reports.

Sgt's run the D unit. The Sgt's Peterson brought in two years ago with top billing have been busts. They might be nice guys, but to quote the best Det I ever met, "There are a lot of nice guys on this job". Nice guys don't cut it on interpersonal skills alone. ALL of the HGS Sgt's are terrified of Peterson. They have been emasculated by him. They are afraid to even ask the man a question. And you'd better not ask them a question because they have NO answers. If that was a Sgt from Area 4 who posted the earlier shot at Staples; yes, I'm talking about you. They probably call Peterson at night to make sure they mount their old lady in a orderly, proficient, Marine Corps manner.

All of changes he made to make us a "better" unit have been a disaster. Murders in Area 4 are down 40% from 5 years ago and our clearance rate is lower than ever. Why? Because he chased good cops out, brought in goofs, and terrorized everyone who stayed. His opinion (which he has stated to me) is that anyone can be good homicide detective. They just have to be trained properly. Well you can put a monkey on the moon, but it doesn't make him an astronaut.

I have watched him publicly berate two different HGS Lt's in public because they suggested a different way to handle something. Mr. "I'm a Marine" should know that you never undermine your supervisors in front of the troops.

Melisa Staples was one of only two Sgt's I've seen with the balls to stand up to that maniac. The other one was outstanding, but he was fucked with so much, that he eventually left. Staples was too stubborn to leave and wouldn't give the fucker the satisfaction. It's easy to take shots at her because she was on the outside of office politics by the time she got promoted. The do-nothing ass kissers always have something to say if they are sucking up to the in crowd. Staples was lucky enough to work in Area 4 at the end of the glory days. She was lucky enough to work with guys like Farrell, Walsh, Vail, Keane, & Gorman. She knows how the place should be run, she backs up her coppers, and she would go to the wall for you. She's not afraid to turn to a Det and ask them what they think. What else do you want from a supervisor? Should every boss in the D unit be a master Det? Peterson is living proof of what a stupid idea that is? If your problem with Staples is that she's a woman or her sexual orientation, then I have a news flash for you. The world has changed a lot in the 30 years you've been corn-holing your son in the basement. Someones race, gender, or lifestyle should not be the reason to promote them, nor should it be the reason to hold them back. I'm a western European, white, straight, Roman Catholic male, and I'd work for Staples anywhere or anytime. Why? Because she'd have my back.

Peterson can't get ONE supervisor he wants into Area 4 (Thank God). If you think the Cdr of Area 5 was able to dictate which Lt is coming to Area 4 then you are an idiot. And if you believe it's true, then what does it say about your guy Peterson? How fucking sad is that? Maybe someone at 35th Street knows our pain. Maybe they know he turned the best Area into the worst Area in two years flat. The handwriting is on the wall for that nut job to go away. The place is a misery to walk into everyday. Sorry for rambling on, but years of frustration came out at once.

Been in A/4 for a bit, never had much contact with Staples. My personal feeling regarding the earlier post was perhaps the frustration with the promotion system as a whole.

How can you feel good about yourself, if you study your ass off, get a great score on exams and get passed over because people are constantly getting double and triple (one that I personally know of) meritoriously promoted?

I am a man, not an inanimate article of clothing. Who's the real puppet here Mr. Insergeant, Esq? You, and the rest of this board, except for the very, very few peace-loving right-thinking members, are nothing more than a mouthpiece for liberals and Daley's personal genocide of the Chicago small-business community.

I'm here to speak out against what we see going on in Chicago. This is all happening at the expense of society. Think of the little people. Poor people have no voice in Chicago society, nothing speaks here but commercialized unions and Irish, Italian and Jackson mobsters. Every time I find a park to meditate in, or the freedom fighters find a quiet place to plan their independence and build anti-tank devices, someone brings in a bulldozer and builds condos for yuppie settlers. The madness must stop. It is precisely the same as what is happening in Iraq! I'm doing something about it, like the human shields did. Condoleeza has already gone to the middle east to save people, and she's come back to save you, but you mock us. You can do that thinking I'm just some internet sock but you wouldn't to my face. I'm not little. I'm 5'5".

It's time for Daley, Jackson and and all of capitalism to step aside for naturalism. You're not saving this planet, you're spending it! Your credit is no good here! We can't afford to loan you anymore of our nature! Those are our trees! This is our sand! I only wish I could be around a little longer to enjoy it. I feel so old. Someone must take my legacy. Sure I think one of the people in SCC has experienced Allah's third greatest gift (when he invented children, only behind revelation of the Holy Koran and the promise of paradise to the martyrs). But I must train a little me! I'm 26 now, but I feel much older, and wiser. I know everything. I've seen a lot of the world.

Since you need a lesson in life, I'll tell you. Speaking as a sensualist, and by this I mean a very narrow-minded, incentered man of peace... Travel. I recently went to Europe. I think everyone should see it for a week. You really see what's wrong with this country when you visit a European utopia. Things like a Germany or France with public transportation, health care, leather shorts, mustaches.

When I went to Belize, I helped some villagers clear some land for an environmentally-friendly coal mine. We've all got to make some sacrifices if we're going to get anywhere. My uncle almost gave me the money to set up an exciting trust in the Middle East. What we need in places like Saudi Arabia and Palestine, where the Zionists have marginalized the Arabs and taken their land, is to remove the Zionist element, return the land and provide more after-school sports like choir or drama, so people can learn to express themselves properly, by singing or pretending to be a tree. Have you ever heard a whale sing? It's a lonely form of beauty and some very ancient wisdom. Helping people to help themselves with drama and choir and flowers and my dad's money.

2:10 FYI
[This is a fast-access FAQ excerpt.]

Fowler defines "begging the question" as the "fallacy of
founding a conclusion on a basis that as much needs to be proved as
the conclusion itself."

"Question" here does not mean "a sentence in interrogative form".
Rather, it means "the point at issue, the thing that the person is
trying to prove". The phrase is elucidated by William Fulke in
"Heskins parleamant repealed" (1579): "O shameless beggar, that
craveth no less than the whole controversy to be given him!" The
OED's first citation for "to beg the question" is from 1581.

Common varieties of begging the question are paraphrase of the
statement to be proved ("Telepathy cannot exist because direct
transfer of thought between individuals is impossible"), and
arguing in a circle ("The Bible must be true, because God wouldn't
lie to us; we know God is trustworthy, because it says so in the
Bible"). Fowler gives two examples of non-circular question-begging:
"that fox-hunting is not cruel, since the fox enjoys the fun, and
that one must keep servants, since all respectable people do so".
Gowers notes that single words, such as "reactionary" and
"victimization", can be used in a question-begging way.

The Latin term for the fallacy is petitio principii, a
translation of the Greek to en archei aiteisthai="at the
beginning to assume"; but aiteisthai does literally mean "to beg".
The phrase can be traced back to Aristotle (4th century B.C.):
"Begging or assuming the point at issue consists (to take the
expression in its widest sense) in failing to demonstrate the
required proposition. But there are several other ways in which
this may happen; for example, if the argument has not taken
syllogistic form at all [...]. If, however, the relation of B to C
is such that they are identical, or that they are clearly
convertible, or that one applies to the other, then he is begging
the point at issue." (Prior Analytics II xvi)

Many people unaware of the technical meaning of "to beg the
question" in logic use it in one of two looser senses. The first of
these, "to evade the question, to duck the issue", is attested since
1860 (WDEU). The second, "to invite the obvious question, (with an
inanimate subject) to raise the question", is now the most commonly
heard use of the phrase, although we have found no mention of it
prior to The Oxford Guide to English Usage, 1st edition (1983), and
it is not yet in most dictionaries. The meaning of the adjective
"question-begging" does not seem to have suffered a similar
broadening.

You asked.

8:11 thank you for the civil response. As so many other uses of language in modern times, I will take the appropriated form noted in the last 13 lines of your post. Used in the sense of "to raise the question", though I acknowledge the questions I raised would not rise to the level of "the" obvious question.

Everyday examples exist as to why I will always go with the most popular usage (i.e., the understanding that would be had more than any other).

1. Doctor (I love when a PhD insists b-b-but I'm the real Doctor); and

2.) Liberal (Bush I used it as an insult, knowing full well its meaning to people most anywhere but here).

But the overall point was the political system, and WHO CAN WE BACK AS A GROUP?

Staples can follow Lt. Pavon out the door. There is a bastion of leadership. He measures up and she doesn't? The guy has spoke to me 3 times in 6 months. He said the same thing everytime, "You have a late list". Which sergeants are leaving? The wonder twins? Big loss. Before they leave ask them whether or not it's a good idea for the VC supervisor to clear the P.O.'s gun at a police shooting. You only need to do it 5 or 6 times before you figure out it's a "no-no. Sleep under Peterson's desk tonight and have jizz for breakfast in the A.M. I wouldn't follow that motherfucker out of a burning building.

First, i'm sure the owner of jimmys could care less where your medals are, what, only people from 025 get ribbons? it would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic; second, most people that got their medals legit wear them because they appreciate the supervisor who took the time to put them in for something they thought they deserved and was recognized for; lastly, you should re-read your post about not coming on websites to look or feel inportant since that's EXACTLY what your post spews. You are a collasal ass of the highest order and another shining example of why 025 has the rep it has and will always have as long as egotistical jaglicks like yourself roam the halls of that haunted indian burial ground; I feel sorry for the people in 025 that just go to work, do their job and not embarass themselves and the department on a regular basis, those people are the ones that are truly the real police.

What's a "douce bag"? Why wasn't I informed as to this new slur? Where is that boy with my latte?

Lol, a douce bag is an instrument used by women to cleanse their "cookie." Maybe they will discuss it in sex ed tomorrow, kid..

Hey Detective, tell us how you really feel about Buhrke in A/4.

News Flash from a P.O. who worked under his "command."

Jim Burhke was a tool as a P.O. in 017 and then after his meritorious promotion to Sgt. he did a steller job distroying the 013th dist tact team he inherited from Sgt. Pallohusky. Ask any copper on that team and they'll tell you what a dickhead he was/and probably still is.

Ask Jim about the time Dana Starks dumped his ass outta 011 cause he refused to do his fucking JOB!

Tell us more about Lt. Pavon, formerly of unit 640,now at 610. What happened? Was he dumped or did he leave on his own? Here in 025 we found him to be arrogant, egotistical, not very friendly,a true backstabber and a suckhole. Was it just us?

I have worked for the Screaming Skull and can tell you that the idiot is beyond bi-polar! I can't believe no one has taken him out yet...talk about a mental maniac~why isn't he wearing a straight jacket yet?!

Believe me, everyone in Area 4 (except Buhrke and Zic-Schmuckmas) is doing backflips about Staples coming back.

She will back up her guys to the end. I've seen her yell right back at Peterson when he tried to belittle her. Made him look like a bitch!

She's a blast to work with and doesn't throw her rank in your face like most do.

Oh, and she's HOT, too!

Lt. Pavon was my gang sergeant for several years in 025. I can honestly say he is one of the nicest guys around. Why he's taking such a beating here is beyond me. He is an extremely fair boss who goes out of his way to take care of working coppers.

I would imagine the negative poster either never actually worked for him, or did work for him and didn't do his or her job.
Whatever the case, Lt. Pavon is an excellent boss who I would be happy to work for any day.

Tru dat. The only time Staples ever raised her voice was to correct another supervisor. And many of the play supervisors at #640 needed correction. To detectives and police officers she is polite and courteous to a fault. She put in more work in eight hours than many of those other piss-heads did in their entire careers. Even a hater like myself could warm up to her. And thats no small feat for me. Although many of miserable hacks are whining over her new assignment the grunts are celebrating! Welcome back.

Staples is by far one of the few females I will gladly work WITH and FOR again! She's sharp and has bigger balls than half the clowns on this job!
Besides those killer blue eyes, she has a great rack!

That may have been true back then but things and people change. Since he's apparently been told he COULD be in contention for a gold star and he may have the support of some influential people, his ego has gotten bigger than his head. Need I say anymore?

Hey 12:39:55

That rumor has floated around for over a year. True or not that shit is private (her being ugly as well as any desire she may, or may not have had for a little "skull" on the side). Also, Jim is a bit strange, but don't drag his ol' G into the game.

Hey A/1 HGS dets... Better hope Pavon will be the RBT Lt. cause the guy was an egotistical jagstick here in A/4.

No such thing as a "douce" bag, son. It's a "douche" bag, son. It was just an off-handed way of making fun of someone's quick, angry typing in a humorous way.

Please try to pay attention.

And that boy still ain't bought me my latte yet! He is sooooo fired!

I'm a lawyer and a cop and take offense to the constant negative comments about lawyers. Not all lawyers are evil beings. Maybe direct your hatred towards defense attorneys and ambulance chasers, but hating all attorneys is ridiculous.

Stop putting blame on police enforcement at the stop sign where that poor little girl was killed and install the SPEED BUMPS which have been requested several times a month by residents who knew something like this would happen. Take responsibility for your own failure. You do your job, leave us do ours!
