Look-Alike BB-Gun Seller Busted
From the Department's website, this Alert System notification:
- Chicago Police have cited a Northwest Side business for illegally selling BB-guns and confiscated several look-a-like firearms from the store. Divas, at 4758 W. Belmont Ave., which sells music CDs, videos and other items, was cited for not having a license to sell firearms and for illegally selling pellet- and BB-guns within the city limits.

Another feel-good but dumb law passed by the Alder-imbeciles elected by Chicago’s ignorant voters.
How about a little parental education about Darwin’s theory instead? Making quick moves with anything that looks like a gun will get you killed quickly. Playing in traffic is dangerous. Bad heroin might kill you. Street gangs can be a hazardous to your health.
A "look-alike" gun with a bright orange plug stiking out of the barrel is not a look-alike gun.
Anyway, you can count on the press for not getting the facts staight. This sounds suspiciaously like a "soft pellet" gun--pretty harmless.

Lets get this out there, this was no 017 TACT arrest for the so called BB guns....this was a 017 BURGLARY MISSION team arrest. I work 017 tact, so please dont associate this 'Newsworthy' arrest with the 017 district tact team. Grant it its good after the situation in 018, but if you knew this women who made the news, its a BS pinch, just like all of hers.....Save the 15 minutes of fame for something news worthy, and not for a so-called BB gun arrest, when it looked like some neon orange 'soft-pellets' on the news last night! 017 Tact is nowhere near praising ourselves for this pinch...no more details her to give out!!!STAY SAFE!!!
