Madigan Plays Dirty - Again
Got to wonder about a guy who goes for the throat - every single time. Especially as he wants his daughter to be the first female governor in Illinois history. Get this one:
Lobbing another political hand grenade, the state Democratic Party chairman and Illinois House speaker said Tuesday he is withholding his support for Democratic treasurer nominee Alexi Giannoulias until he answers "those allegations of connections to the mob."
"I want some answers," Madigan said. "The allegations are there."
- The bombshell from Madigan recalls his cryptic comments in 2002 about never-explained "indiscretions" of then-Democratic gubernatorial nominee Rod Blagojevich.
Gee Mike. How about asking our fine mayor about all of his connections to the mob? Like his brother's in-laws? The Duffs? The people he rides around with in golf carts at charity outings? The people who show up at his former patronage chief's fundraisers.
And those are just the obvious ones.

In order for one to get involved in politics in the old days, they had to be sponsored. It was usually confirmed by the connected "wise" guys.
You better believe he played ball with the boy's or his balls would be in a glass jar.

They all are connected!!! A very good friend of mine is a good friend of Jessie AIRBORNE White. He goes to his office all the time to shoot the bull. Years ago, after he became SOS, he asked Jessie why doesnt he run for governer. Jessie told my friend he would have to deal with the Mob to get that job,and that as SOS he didnt have to deal with them!!

Madigan may be pushing his daughter but the truth be told Alexi Giannoulias and his family are not wearing any halos. His father had his hands all over greektown and building developments plus owing a bank which gave out the loans too wit alexi was an officer of the bank. His brother is no prize either and I have had first hand dealing with the brother Alexi will never get my vote. This will only bring more dirt to the state Capital
I do not blame Mike Madigan for failing to support Alex Giannoulias. Mr. Giannoulias has failed to give answers to his business associations with suspect people and until he does then he is not qualified to be elected to watch over our money.
The more interesting part of the story is the failure of elected public officials who claim that they are cleaning up government who have failed to speak out about corruption in the State of Illinois.
Senator Obama has been named by his counerparts on the Democratic side of the United States Senate to be the watchdog on ethical behavior and he declines to speak out about Governor Blagojevich, Alderman Stroger or Mr. Giannoulias.
Senator Dick Durbin comments frequently about ethical failures by Republicans but strangely he has nothing to say about the wheelings and dealings in Illinois.
Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn has always claimed that he is the most ethical person in government and he sees nothing wrong with the actions of Governor Blagovich.
Another politician who has a lot to say about corruption in Chicago but has failed to speak out about the failure of Blagojevich and the Stroger regime is Jesse Jackson Jr.
He has a lot to say about Mayor Daley but fails to say anything at all about the other two. Why?
When you look into the failings of all three layers of government in Illinois, State, County and City it appears the only individual who has stated I made mistakes is the Mayor and the only one who has attempted to rectify some of his mistakes is the Mayor. It might be too little too late but at least it is something.
Blagojevich admits to nothing wrong and Todd Stroger claims he knows nothing.
I sure hope everyone votes in November and in February.
I want some answers about the airconditioner that was stolen from Ms Madigan by Commander O'Shields.
alexi does have some explaining to do. one of the felons his bank loaned money to is more than mob connected...he is the mob, former member of "chinatown" crew, deeply connected to the cook county democratic party (he's held fundraisers for various candidates) and a very wealthy man having made millions through real estate, prostitution, and gambling. he is absolutely no friend of the police. That alexi's family's bank would loan money to this person certainly makes any normal person question where his political interests are. Remember...Cook County Democrats are no friends of the police
Both Madigan and his daughter, the attorney general, have some explaining to do about the origins of their HUGE craniums, i.e. foreheads. You can view a power point slide show on either one of them. Now that's a crime! Let the investigation begin!

Hynes, Joyce, Madigan known as the THREE WISE MEN. How can three wise men be connected, how can even one wise man be connected? Were they not the bearer's of gifts? Whose the Shepard?

Giannoulias and family gave big bucks to the Obama campaign. That is why Obama was photographed with him on all of Giannoulias' campaign literature. That is why you won't hear Obama say anything negative about Giannoulias.
We get the government we deserve. All we do it bitch about it and like sheep continue to elect these scum to public office.
