Bears Parade - Win or Lose
There will be a parade regardless of the outcome of the game. Such is the word from a little birdie within Special Events. Tuesday, February 6th is the date. Watch for an order to be cut shortly detailing various Tact/Gang teams downtown along with recruits, traffic aides and HQ personnel. No word on days off cancelled.

officers, don't you dare park your squad on the sidewalk or on the parkway at your post for the parade. you might get towed. you're just going to have to drive around and park about 7 blocks away in a legal spot and walk to your post. then if something breaks out, you'll just have to run 7 blocks back to your vehicle to respond. dana starks / mayor daley / phil cline = your all so full of shit. It was cold for the victory rally 21 years ago, and that still did not keep the beast from attending, and of course, looting the player's luggage from beneath the motor coaches that brought the team into Daley Plaza. Hope they lock the compartments this time! And hope they hold the rally at Soldier Field where there is parking and bathrooms. But that would be too logical.
