Grossman Just Isn't It

We know it's only the pre-season, and we try to treat it as such, but ... opportunity after opportunity and this guy just can't be consistent:
  • For Grossman, it was another opportunity to prove critics wrong, but all his frustrating adventure did was provide more fuel for his doubters.

In 26 plays, he fumbled three times, double-clutched another snap, threw an interception deep in Chicago territory and was sacked once. Even his one good moment, a 1-yard touchdown run, came with an unusual twist: He carried two times for minus-1 yard and a TD on the drive.

We've been impressed with the off season moves to bolster the defense. But we just think a top notch QB is the missing piece to the puzzle.

Michael Vick, the sadistic serial dog killer. Even with his 4.2 superhuman speed in the forty yard dash, we'd tear him into hamburger scraps in seconds.

We can only hope that Grossman gets dumped on his ass in week one by the Chargers 'D'! The man plays like he is wearing a set of ski boots and oven mitts! How long till we see Orton again? Luck if they are 8 & 8!

I'm sick and tired of Lovie stating that we go with the players who give us the best chance of winning. Anyone with half a brain can see that Rex isn't an NFL starting QB. Last year the Bears went to the Super Bowl, not because of Rex. They went there in spite of Rex.

As soon as Lovie is on the verge to toss Grossman, Rex will surprise us and give am awesome performance. We will be behind him for two more blunders then he will shine again. We need him to always perform we can't win games with Defense for the whole year.

Did anyone see his interview on ESPN after the game? Just a bunch of lame excuses--aka it's not my fault.

You are all a bunch of asshole packers fans. If you haven't noticed we are still 2-0 and after all its only pre-season thats when you make dumb mistakes. Apparently you ass packer fans forgot last year.

The Bears with Grossman will easily run away with the NFC.

It's nice to see that his teammates think Bob Murray is as big a handjob as the rest of us do. When he was in 010 he bumped another PPO to get a good FTO, worked less than 2 years and made tac on a phone call and did as little as he could and still found time to steal pinches, ace out others on his team and just genrally made himself look good. One way, back-stabbing motherfucker.

We Bears fans have to be patient with Grossman. He is not that bad, he just needs time to develop. Remember even though he is about 5 years into the league, due to injuries it is only his second actual year. Give the guy a break and see how he does in the regular season. We Bears fans don't know what a great quarterback is, the last one we had was Sid Luckman who played in the 40's. (Please don't tell me about the overrated coke head McMahon who couldn't be bothered to stay in shape in the off season) I would be more concerned with keeping the offensive line healthy, they are the oldest in the league, and the loss of Thomas Jones. Hope the Bears didn't make a big mistake letting him go.

Sid Luckman? Man, he was just a draft dodger playing against 4-F players. The Bears have NEVER had a top flight Q.B.
