They Pulled it Off

It was a hell of a game.
Three "must-win" games and they manage to win every one of them. So the chance for a "Subway Series" is still on. Slim chance, but still on.

I am desperately hoping for a Subway Series for so many reasons, all PO's should be at this time.

Anything to illuminate the critical manpower shortage and bring much needed attention to the plight of the CPD is good for us.

I am still strongly of the belief that there will be civil insurrection in November.

WOW what a game!

The Cubs and Sox may arguable be the best team in baseball in each of their leagues.

Crosstown World Series? OH Hell NO

Will Car 47 be out there on his Segway at the Cell or Wrigley?

Sox bats have been solid most of the season, let's hope the bullpen can do their job.
Northside fruits trying to take the spotlight, move over.
Both teams have a similar chance. Sox can beat the Rays
Cubs can beat LA

Next round - ????

Cubs are gonna get their ass handed to them by Philly.

Worls Series champs - Phillies.

Mr. SouthSide says---

The fans were the tenth man on the field, dressed all in black, and cheering for the Sox all the way.

No sports media picked the Sox for anything better than third place.

Since most of them live on the north side with their roommate and lap dog, afraid to go any further south than 35th St., they have no clue what the south side is about.

From a Cub fan since being in utero, Congrats to the White Sox and their fans.

I would love a Red Line World Series.

Cubs won and clinched. No shots fired, no drunk hillbilles and gangbangers. Sox clinch shots fired all over the white neighborhoods, bangers celebrating everywhere.

Gotta love the Cubbies

Go cubs!! Is A. J going to try to cheat again?? In 2005 the Sox were Number 1 in the country, but number 2 in Chicago and it will always be that way.

well, you do go through the "subway" on the way to either stadium via the red line.

fyi: we can't have a subway/el series if the cubs don't get past the dodgers.

From my vantage point on my north side couch your Cubbies aren't looking too swift going into the top of the ninth. But since my dad is a Cubs fan and I wasn't brought up in a barn, I'll just say that your guys had a great year and hopefully we'll meet on October 22nd...

As I watched the tears of sadness stream down the faces of the Cub fans leaving the game Thursday night, I realized that this is the same defeatist attitude that has followed the Cubs for 100 years.

There are two games in L.A. kiddies. Quit your damn crying.
