And Another Thing...

We were driving by the CTA yard yesterday. Guess where the CTA plow was pushing all the snow that had piled up in the yard's parking lot? And then driving through the park, we saw not one but four Park District pick up trucks clearing Park District sidewalks pushing the snow where?

Into the road way.

So someone go find this Matt Smith and tell him the problem isn't Joe Schmoe putting a few shovel fulls of snow into the street while he's on the street side of his car anyway undoing the damage piled up by a few passes with the plow.

A friend of mine came in to town today. She saw the snow covered streets by my house and asked me what do I pay property taxes for?

Wrong SCC,

It is all the senior citizens hefting millions of cubic yards of frozen, icy snow upon the streets of Chicago.

Picardi just fears the AARP.

I haven't had a chance to throw plowed snow back into the roadway yet because the plow hasn't come by yet.

Worse than that I had a park district employee plow the park (Why? I don't know.) and push the snow into a parking spot in front of someone's house.

Douche Bag. He better never let me catch him doing that bullshit.

Of course the park supervisor who sits on his leathery ass and does absolutley nothing; you know he's got time with the park district so he doesn't have to, didn't know shit about it.

Another shining example how this city puts connected idiots in jobs with Streets and San, the Park District, Police & Fire Departments, and ward offices who wouldn't last a week at any privately run company.

Sooner or later people will move out of the city and those of us who HAVE to live here will have retired and this place will turn into a shithole.

I'm torn between watching the stuttering prick witness it or celebrating his long hoped-for dirt nap.

Merry Christmas!

DUNHAM PARK IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF PUTTING THE SNOW IN THE STREET. HE DOES NOT LIVE IN THE AREA.

Old matty "bumbles" smith has no clue and picardi is completely emasculated by tommy byrnes! The city cannot even remove snow anymore but daley still has a huge fleet of city owned vehicles for his family and friends and all the valets!

Don't LOL just yet... Jailbird George can get his pardon/commutation from Bush up until inaugeration on 20 January.
The more controversial of these usually don't come until the eleventh hour anyway, when no one really notices!

My neighbor is about 90 and for years he's been putting on this big act. Walking stooped over, taking slow, small steps, asking me to give him a hand bringing the city garbage cans out front and pulling his garage door up and down. I knew something was up!! Thank God the mayor has finally had the courage to tell all of us that the horrendous, snowy, icy, streets are the fault of men like him. That big phony neighbor of mine has been acting all these years. Just waiting for the first blizzard-like snowstorm when he could prance about the lawns and sidewalks, scooping armloads of snow in his hidden muscular pecs, hurling them with the force of an olympic discus thrower, clogging the arterial byways of the city into a logjam unknown until now. What a mastermind!!!!! Blimey!

Matt Smith is right. I see my neighbors in the summer blowing their leaves into the street; for the streetcleaner to later take them away.

I heard Matt Smith talking on Fox yesterday. He sounds like a little weasel and a smart ass. Does anyone have a picture of him they could post? And why would the Mayor have someone who obviously aggravates people to be a spokesman for Streets and Sanitation? Has he completely lost his mind or is this part of his master plan to show everyone once and for all they are at his mercy?

One thing I will say, is his old man knew the score. He made sure the taxpayers got a bang for their buck or at the very least he did some posturing for the media so he acknowledged those who paid his salary and provided the funds for which he ran his empire.
