Patti Blago Fired

We assume she'll be collecting unemployment? At least she has selling real estate to crooked Illinois pols and connected developers as a fall back position:
  • llinois First Lady Patti Blagojevich is out of a job.

Blagojevich — who started Sept. 1 as development director of the 100-year-old Chicago Christian Industrial League — was quietly dismissed from her $100,000-a-year job on Tuesday.

And how did she do at her $100,000 job?
  • The Sun-Times reported that, in each of Patti Blagojevich’s first three months on the job, the Christian Industrial League brought in $10,000 to $15,000 a month — the same as it did before she started, according to president William Good.
So this was essentially a bribe to the Blago family. Or the Mell family - who knows where the money went. And the Chicago Christian Industrial League? Facing bankruptcy and maybe even dissolution after being around to help people since the turn of last century.

I loved seeing her on the news hauling out her Christmas tree.

Two things came to mind:

1. Don't normal people dispose of their tree before the 21st of January?

2. Her husband really is a gentleman (on top of everything else) for making his wife haul out the tree.

It seems "Purty-Mouthed-Patty" did about the same amount of work at the Chicago Christian Industrial League as Mrs. First Lady did at the University of Chicago. Sad thing is, the masses will never hear about the latter "indiscretion" - and even if they did, they wouldn't believe a single word of it. "'Change' you're fuckin' stuck with for the next four years. Whether you like it or not".

I keep reading in the comments about "U.S.Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald" and how he's going to be our saviour.

What a bunch of fucking assholes you are.

I've been retired for over 10 years. With the corruption in this city and county, if I was the USAG you could blindfold me and shove bananas in my ears and I could still indict Daley and his jagoff relatives and clout buddies without batting an eye.

Can't you guys see you're being played?

With some luck Blago will also be unemployed in a few weeks.

Patti need not worry.

Her aldercritter dad is wealthy and can provide for her and the kids after hairgel-guv goes away.

The first lady was a ghost employee of the UIC Hospital. President Obama wants a more open government, a more transparent government. He is thus giving the UIC permission to explain why the first lady was given a huge raise when Obama became a senator and why she did little or no work for her salary. Wait "TRANSPARENT" where did I hear that before ?? Oh yes Mr WEIS said that about the "merit" promotions and the he puts another city hall hack on the merit selection board.

This is way, way, way off topic - but also a must read. Most politicians are whores, bought and paid for. Knowledge is power. We need real reform. Check this out:

This is the only guy that seemed to have any credibility to me at the time & the corrupt media, with their evil wisdom, treated him as a flake & non-entity.

Any thoughts?

-You know what goes hand in hand- where there is gangs there is drugs and where there is gangs or drugs there is guns! pretty simple and truthful statement but a lot of the white shirts on this job cant grasp the concept.

That also rolls into the same thing with overtime. When you make lots of arrests and hit a house or two with a warrant youre going to run into making some ot, plain and simple.

idea for a plan regarding cozzi: We need to unite and give the department nothing, I mean nothing, other than arrests made with sworn signed complaints for legitimate crimes with real victims. 1 week of inactivity for each year Cozzi is sentenced. the department only understands money, nothing else. Punish them accordingly.

its pretty clear the fix is in.

daley and his minion obama are going to let blago and his wife, and maybe a few of blago's cronies go down, and then they will declare illinois to be pure as the driven snow.

the investigation will sputter around for a while but no one important to daley or obama will go down.

If I were his family I would be very worried about his mental state. I would get his wife and kids way from him. Something is very wrong with that guy.

Mr. Bruno, 79, was charged under an anti-corruption law making it a crime to deprive citizens of honest services from their elected officials. He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted.

It was an inglorious turn for a politician who had fashioned himself as a champion of ordinary taxpayers and was for 14 years one of the three most powerful men in state government, able to foil governors, kill legislation, influence state contracts, direct state grants and open doors for lobbyists.

In a news conference, Andrew T. Baxter, the acting United States attorney for the Northern District of New York, said the payments to Mr. Bruno were in essence gifts because Mr. Bruno “did not perform legitimate consulting service commensurate with these substantial consulting fees.”

“Mr. Bruno exploited his office by concealing the nature and the source of substantial payments that he received from parties that benefited from his official actions,” he said.

Mr. Baxter made his comments at the federal courthouse in Albany, where about an hour earlier a defiant Mr. Bruno entered a not guilty plea and was released without bail. The former senator then addressed reporters at the Crowne Plaza Hotel nearby, angrily criticizing the indictment as “an expensive fishing expedition” that contorted federal statutes and invented crimes.

“After being hounded for three years, I am being indicted on a prosecutor’s sleight of hand,” Mr. Bruno, a former boxer, said, his voice growing louder. “I’ve been a fighter. And I don’t plan on changing now.”
This state of New York poltician is in the trick bag just like Elvis and Patti!
