A reader of ours went through public sources, media reports and spend quite a bit of time putting this together. He even revamped it once or twice to accommodate our limited ability to post it in a readable format, so for this we thank him. Check this out:

They forgot the 186 million the city got when the selling of Midway airport fell through.
this chart is nice, but i will tell you whr all the money went: welfare, link cards, building new buildings for the geto, etc... thats whr all the money goes too...
it looks like they left out the money paid to the goofs to walk the kids to school, the money paid to move a business, and I know that I am missing something else, but it's late and I'm tired.
I'm sure the FOP is well aware of it. They have an easy job. Pretend to care, then let the arbiter handle it.
Lets not forget the millions of $$$ spent to keep United Airlines here and paying to move them into Sears Tower, and then the millions approved to Willis to rehab parts of the tower.
No wonder daley and burke need large bodyguard details. They are no fools, they know people would skin them alive if they were not well protected from the citizen/taxpayers/voters they continue to abuse and rob.
this should be put up on billboards all over the city.

Don't forget all the stimulus money given. You can find it on the city of chicago web site. He revamped the web site so. It's not as easy to find all the spending.
We spent money on repaving chicago ave, rehabbing the projects, squad car camera, and so on.

And don't forget all the extra traffic control and ticket writers the city hired instead of police to save money.
Add in the proposed Millions for the free WIFI, to the "underprivledged" and the 70 million found to pay parents to be parents for the CPS

That and all the illegal fucks in daleys "sanctuary city" of shit! Friend went to Christ hospital recently with chest pains, working guy, in ER told to wait,then being called in his wife was told to wait outside, he walked in look at all the illegal mexicans and kids inside inner ER with "mama" he asked "why are they all in here" the reply "it is ok", he went off and they let his wife in then! Wtf they use "our" ER's for free and treat it like a trip to the amusement park!

I'm surprised it hasn't happened regardless. Can you imagine? I'd be protesting outside the courthouse THANKING the guy that started making these people pay for their dishonesty and downright robbery of the citizenry! I wonder if a Crook County Jury would acquit the guy?

One of the entries states that the city was underpaid $1 billion for the parking meter deal, according to the inspector general. That is absolutely not true. I have an MBA in finance and I will debate this with anyone. It was more like $4 billion. Use the formula, "Net Present Value of Future Cash Flow" to determine the price. Google this formula, do the math yourself, it is simple.

I have seen the same thing. Unfortunately, you have to "remind" people what actually makes sense. Society has turned into a cesspool with rights and rules for those who have not earned them and people who work for a living are forced to explain the inequities and demand what they deserve and have worked for.
A few years ago, Christ had my father on a gurnee in a hallway. When I got to the hospital, my mom and I looked around and the place was packed with drunks, people with headaches and runny noses. There were gangbangers all over the place. People sitting around eating and partying. Security is afraid to confront anyone. Some kid had gotten shot and I kid you not, I counted seventeen "family" people come in and be accomodated all because of nonsense and drama. After about two hours, I grabbed a doctor and told him that my father has insurance, he's in pain and here for a legitimate reason, now get him the fuck into a room now. A minute later, two nurses came and told me they finally found an ER room for him.
It's absolutely ridiculous.
