Big John is a confrontational dweeb who lobs softballs on behalf of Shortshanks and recently made a fool of himself attacking Sgt. Northen while being completely ignorant of police procedure and duties. In this tape, they interview J-Fled, and Big John attempts to repair, refurbish and restore the tarnished image of J-Fled by asking him to explain the "gotta run" incident.
J-Fled comes up with this whopper at 24:31 in the tape:

At the end of the interview with "Big John" does J-Fled state that he is surprised that no one has ever called him a coward before?? Listen to the ending again, cuz I listened to it over and over again and that's what I hear.
For the J-Fled WIND radio interview, check from 24:30 to 28:25 minutes. Is he deaf? The lady Channel 2 reporter heard the gunfire followed by sirens. It's on video. Then he tells her that he's "gotta run"--the other way. Notice how "15 minutes" turns into "a few minutes". On a man shot call, everybody from rookie to supt. rolls with lights and siren to back each other up on a dangerously deadly call. They say J-Fled was only 45 seconds away. He could have been the first unit there and caught the murderer who's still on the loose. How dare he say the scene was secure if the killer got away. No slowdown or disregard was given yet the coward "gotta run" to HQ. Quit, loser.
If you compare the interview with Northside with the interview with J-Fled, it's obvious that Big John Howell used the same nonsense in both interviews as an apologist for J-Fled. Northen made a fool out of him when he came across as a bully interrupting him with nonsense. He may as well have his face buried in J-Fled's lap. When Amy said the story made the New York Times, Howell cut her off quick.
In any other city in the USA, J-Fled would have resigned in disgrace or be fired weeks ago. Shortshanks owns local media here.

I have to stop laughing and I got watching WGN Morning News on the subject of the National Guard patrolling Chicago streets.
J-Fled said the National Guard does not work under the same constraints of the (U.S.) Constitution, the 1st, the 4th and the 5th Amendments don't apply with them.

I have been fairly quiet because the COWARD has finally shown his true fed colors.
I grieve for JA and BC. Both are VICTIMS of incompetent federal "leadership".
This whole situation has been handled beautifully by SCC, SLC and one participant on the blogs, Retired SGT. John Northen. This MAN should be personally thanked by every CPD copper still living. He is fighting for US. He is not afraid to call it like he sees it. He asks nothing of us, but keeping in touch with BC. He also causes much agita to the idiots in power.
I am not a good writer but John in a few short sentences, covers the subject in full. And to the "thing" that called him names, may you live a long, long life. I know of no other curse that is more fitting.

Jay Marvin LOVED the police, was entertaining and intelligent, and is greatly missed.
Maybe in that video, his ear piece instructing him what to say to the media coming from the 5th floor, had loud static and lost its signal causing his head to switch. He couldn't talk to media without being instructed what to say so he had to go. Thats a logical explanation.
