Parking Ban Tonight
- Chicago motorists who park on some public streets may need to find new spots starting early Wednesday when the city's winter overnight parking ban begins.
Vehicles parked on marked stretches of key streets spanning 107 miles will be ticketed and towed between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m., even in the absence of snow. The seasonal ban takes effect at 3 a.m. Dec. 1.
Last year, 234 motorists ignored or missed the posted prohibitions on the first day of the ban and were hit with towing fees and tickets, according to the city's Streets and Sanitation Department. The city ticketed and towed an additional 164 motorists the second day the ban was in effect.
And with all the new parking restrictions, parking boxes and such, we'd expect the number of tows to meet or exceed the 234 from the first night last year. Warn your friends.

Ahh yes we're getting more boots on the street! Denver boots.
Windfall profits for the cronies connected to United Road Towing.
Merry Christmas b
The City needs money and if the City would agree to dedicate the funds generated to hiring additional police officers I will write additional parking citations, especially in Bucktown.
I hope you guys on 1st watch, that are out there generating revenue for this Shithole city, are at least doing it as a 10-4 unit.
How does one know which routes these are? Is Northwest Highway considered one of them? It's a "snow route" but doesn't say anything about not parking there as of 12-1.
"Snow Tows" always made me feel like Daley's Whore.
But I always tried and often was able to give citizens a break.
Don't let the tow trucks act like emergency vehicles and speed and run red lights.
Don't let these asshole "stack" the victims vehicles. That is tow cars to a holding area a few blocks away then they could take them to the pound all morning.
Stay safe and screw EAR Towning.
Rahm Emanuel puts CURRENT Police and Fire employee Pension Benefits on the table.
Monday night, Carol Marin questioned Emanuel on Chicago Tonight. Emanuel says in this interview at "2:50" on the time counter that there needs to be changes to pensions for EXISTING employees.
This is a very important interview

This is how King 'Shanks rakes in the dough !!!
As an aside...why is Blair Holt's mother doing political ads for rahm? She is actually saying that he has put thousands of policemen on the streets across America, many right here in Chicago.Rahm hasn't even been able to put policemen in his old neighborhood. There is a rash of residential burglaries within blocks of his Hermitage residence and not enough police presence to keep the thugs in their own neighborhoods. Oh yes, that's right, since asswipe let everyone in the city know that they were pulling police from the safer, tax paying neighborhoods all of the thugs know exactly where to go. Hold on you Lakeviewites, here they come!
It's snowing.
Just a tiny bit, but it's snowing.
Ah, it would be fun to sit out in your car and when the revenue agent comes up to your car, drive away giving him or her a finger.
I was stuck downtown a few years back on December 1, and as I was waiting to catch the morning train the tow trucks swooped down on about 10 cars parked on Madison.
It took less than 30 minutes to scoop them all up.
I love to see the Denver boot. People who live in my shithole district get away with a lot, and a lot of government entitlement services. This is the only thing that really hurts them.

They never seem to go into the ghetto to tow. Maybe they're afraid of getting shot or maybe it's just not worth it since many of those pos cars aren't worth bailing out!

Because Daley asked her too...the Daley boys are working to get Rahm elected! Keep that in mind when you vote!!!
