Sound Familiar?

Hauntingly familiar actually:

He shoots, he scores, again.

Does the cowardly liar realize how much we despise his mere existence?

I'd have to say that this latest comic adequately summarizes the WEISel/Masters regime. And even
though he's been a street cop,
it kind of previews the 'rebirth'
of EB too.

IF RayRay did return to SWAT, so what? He was only 'on paper' as being assigned to 003, so he could run out the southeastern reaches of 004 and work on the outdoor range issue. Come on now, you didn't really expect RayRay to sit in an office in a southside/ Area 2 District and be a real watch commander and be accountable for his time while his best friend is the Chief of Staff, did you?

NOTE: Watch Lts. don't normally get assigned to Districts direct from their graduation/assignments with take home cars issued from headquarters.

This strip was written to illustrate an almost universal truth through out all departments. It's certainly true in Philadelphia.

To "Garey McKee" in re: the above comment: if you are referring to Chuck Ramsey, then you most certainly have your head up your ass. Ramsey was more of a cop here in Chicago than any of our current crop of command staff, and I'd bet he had a hard time finding similarly qualified cops in Philadelphia. He might be out in front of the cameras a lot, he may even play the politics more than necessary (and make no mistake, running a major police dept. IS political), but to imply that he wasn't "a cop?" Boy are you wrong.

You don't like him in Philly? That's fine, we'd take him here in a minute.

I guess you guys still long for the Rizzos, huh?

Heck if you want Ramsey you can have him! Then your lips won't have that far to reach while you are kissing his ass.

Ramsey is no friend of the street cop.

The only good thing was that for whatever reason the stuttering prick WAS TERRIFIED of him.

Which means Ramsey had something funky on crime king or better yet his asshole spawn.

Thus...

Ramsey quite probably owed his last couple of promotions to this very real possibility but his ego (and a certain part of his anatomy) got in the way which resulted in shorty passing him over for stupidintendent.

Heh... Confidentiality agreements are real mother-jumpers & daddy-humpers aren't they Chuck?

Hey Babs! How ya doin'?

Sorry about that Philly... He's all yours! X^(...

We have an overabundance of rotten, stinking grinners disguised as Police brass to deal with here. Isn't Chuckles close to aging out anyway?

Garey, your comics are some of the best out there. They speak the truth about most depts. The only thing lame are some of the morons who have been posting lately.
