Observations and a hypothesis...
OBSERVATIONS:
- The 2010 salary of the mayor of Chicago was $216,210.
- Rahm Emanuel is rumored to have accrued a $12,000,000 "war chest" to finance his campaign for mayor of Chicago.
- Assuming a 33% rate of taxation on $12,000,000 raised as campaign contributions, Rahm Emanuel would still have the equivalent of 37.001063 years worth of the mayor's salary (not taking into account pay raises, graft, freebies and proceeds, goods and services obtained via criminal or less-than-scrupulous means) if he were to walk away from the mayoral race tomorrow.
- Any normal person, being able to "exit stage left" with a free $8,000,000 after taxes, wouldn't fathom assuming the responsibility of attempting to manage a major city that's in the throes of financial collapse and teetering on civil unrest.
HYPOTHESIS:
Rahm Emanuel is a willing and compensated conspirator in the furtherance of a Socialist agenda as nurtured and sustained by our very own POTUS. He is little more than a cog in the very machine that'll ultimately represent the demise of this great country.
Vote wisely on Tuesday.
