Since "rubber arm" McCarthy is doing such a good job of patting himself on the back maybe a reporter could ask him how the OBLITERATION of the MLD's is going. After all he is responsible for 90% of the crime reduction which occurred so I would suppose that obliterating a small Chicago gang like the MLD's would be simple, right? That's what he said would happen after the child was shot in the playground...

There are various rumors about major changes to the Detective Division. Who has the real scoop.
No more Youth, combine rbt and hgs
everybody cross trained to handle all jobs, etc etc.

So what is the latest story about man power being stripped from days to beef up afternoons and midnights. Heard it was going to be 20% days, 40% afternoons, & 40% midnight.
Sounds like a move to push the KMA club out of the door.
Mac wants big changes and is asking all the unions from Capt on down to just forget about the many contractual protections we have. Not a chance. And if you wanted to make positive changes why only allow the nominated captains and Lieutenants to be considered for Commanders? Is he that naive to believe that the most qualified will be nominated? The two best ones in my district were shut out and 2 hacks were nominated and just imagine the Commanders of 007, 014, and 020 get to niminate people. God Help us...
Entire detective division to be changed. Dicks maybe working in districts next to po's. They want to do more with less. No detective class this year to be promoted. Sorry guys maybe next year. I'm waiting on list myself.
I voted twice for SCC and when I woke up this morning, there was a new 55 gallon steel garbage can behind my house in the alley.

1 fact all the unmarked d unit cars will be gone to tact/gang units,the dick's will all be in marked cars more accountability for that bravo!

Citizens of Chicago, if only you knew half of the truth as to how the media lies, twists the truth and does not check their facts, you would be amazed.
The clear majority of alleged reporters cannot do anything else in life. They have no skills to work in any other occupation.
They don't even have the skills to their own job correctly.
I happened to be at a social that included a number of Chicago's elite media. During conversations with them I was utterly appalled at how they knew next to nothing about U.S. history, literature and science. I felt like I was at social event designed for sharing ignorance. AND THESE PEOPLE ARE REPORTERS!!! Some of them even have by-lines in the Chicago Fibune and the Scum Times.
I was not surprised, but I sure was appalled. What a sad state of affairs.
Back to the box tmrw morning. Ive been feeling car sick lately from driving in circles and pulling event numbers.
Keep hearing rumors about a possible schedule change. Something about the command staff not liking coppers waiting for cars. ANYBODY HAVE INFO.?
So much fun voting for SCC so many times. Now I konow how the low lifes feel with their handful of bogus Crook County Voter ID cards going from polling place to polling place voting all they want. It felt GREAT!

OFF TOPIC: The case of Kenneth Green, the piece of shit who shot two CPD Officers on a Search Warrant two years ago, finally goes to trial over the next two days.
PLEASE stop in room 203, (ultra liberal Judge who does not like CPD much) to show support to the Officers involved and hopefully to help influence and deter any chance of a light sentencing.

SCC, please repost this. I was court the last two days, I was able to go there for Detective Johnson and I stopped in today for the Unit 189 guys.
Very poor showing, I saw two cops, and I assume a girlfriend or wife of one of the officers. There were more ASA's then police there. Not sure why there were not any of the bosses from 189 or any other of their people there, but it was a poor showing. I hope we do not need Det. Johnson's wife to write about it (again) for people to show.
I urge all officers to stop in for a minute if you are there tomorrow.
Copper in 1824 mounted tonight - can't take a joke. But your horse was rebelling...probably against seeing "honor students" tonight-I just heard him from my 6th floor...getting really antsy....

Lot of issues, how about the Lieutenants from TRU and MSF. The two units combined had almost 500 Officers and their commanders get no nominations. Say what you want about the units but at least one deserved out the 7 deserved to be considered.
I just cranked out about 10 votes for SCC, and I'll pump in 20 or 30 more later. The easiest way to do it is with the Chrome browser - just open a new "incognito" window for each vote. Incognito windows don't save cookies or browsing history.
Also handy if you don't want nosy family members seeing where you surf on a shared computer.

Tact will be losing their cars come the first of the year and be required to do undercover "decoy" missions on foot using the trains and buses as transport to the hot spots. They will only have 1 unmarked van per unit for arrest transports.

I heard that too....plus all beat cars now in conservative business attire; also all range staff, e.t.'s, dog handlers and mounted cops in speedos. Plus EVERYONE is going to mandatory shoulder holsters.

Heard the same thing, it would be a great idea and marked cars more presence! We know the uniform fits as when special is worked all the dicks are working in full uniform! Would also show more accountability 9 for 9 perfect,now Mac has a great idea! It stems from the last comstat meeting but still smart thinking!

O/T A commander who still doesn't have one year as a lieutenant, nominates a lieutenant that has never passed a promotional exam and he is one of the first called in for an interview. Same show we've been watching for 20 plus years - I give up.
