Cop Shot - Non Life Threatening
A Chicago police officer was shot and wounded in the foot this morning following a miles-long pursuit that ended near Rainbow Beach on the city's lakefront, officials said.
The unidentified officer was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with non-serious injuries, said a police source, who asked not to be identified.
A Chicago police spokesman had no details on the shooting.
Two in custody. And surprise surprise! It started in Englewood.

Effective immediately, since most were unearned/obtained by fabrication, Rick Flair's awards are to be removed from his outer garments and used as 'Stop Sticks'.
Officers will refer to the General Order on pursuits and apply the 'Balancing Test' when determining which pins are to be thrown in the path of any vehicle fleeing 007th district personnel.
Officers are encouraged to use those awards of least value first, such as the D.N.C., World Cup Soccer or Obama Election Night awards and supervisors will monitor the pursuit to ensure strict compliance by subordinates.
Unused awards are to be returned to Leo's chest at the end of each tour of duty.

Fyi..coppers in 007. The new Lt. From 23rd district that is assigned to 007 has no experience in a busy district. Her command of yesterdays incident shows her lack of experience..nice lady but shouldn't b there. Be very careful of what u do n the actions that u take. An experienced Lt or capt needs to present.

Their grammar and punctuation and flow is 180 degrees from the goof that posts here. His/her posts are articulate and very well written, even tho I disagree with about 99% of what they wrote about. Too much all the time, just like the box Chevy phantom guy/gal. Yes, I used my detective skills to figure all this out ;-).

Contract calls for 13 paid holidays. When they took away Good Friday (for religious reasons) they had to give us another holiday, thus CAPS day.

False. I spent my first 13 years on earth there buddy. I'm an American patriot, and college educated family man that would've been a little gd if my old man didn't take care of business. Even fresh out of Englewood, people didn't believe I was from there because we didn't fit the stereotype.

Each month the names are listed and distributed in a booklet with the minutes from the prior police review board meeting.

Wow can't believe the LT on midnights in 007. I feel really bad for you PO's in the wood. How could one person with no knowledge of this job become a LT on this department. She did not know how to do anything, she didn't even know her own streets in the 7th Dist. HORRIBLE. she had to have the deputy show up and tell her she was wrong and the all sgts were right. What a disgrace to the PO's in 007.

This just goes to show what type of people we still have in this dept WOW!!!! This officer never got a CR# on that officer, the other officer got the CR# and could have lost her job for what she did but this PO told IED he wanted her to keep her job!!! but i guess you didnt know that fact huh??? SMH get all the facts.
007 F/4 officer has done it again. She has formally initiated multiple CR #'s on officers who were on scene. FYI: If you were involved but did not to a supp report, please do so. LT from 023 are pulling all GPS stuff from the night of the incident. 007 F/4 lied about being/not being there and was subsequently caught lying. 006 Officer was shot minutes after the chase was "terminated". Bosses are trying to work this out as well. Be safe out there.
