Shotgun Wielding Man Shot

  • A Chicago police officer shot a man wielding a shotgun at a traffic stop tonight on the Far South Side, authorities said

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. near West 105th and South Green streets in the Washington Heights neighborhood.

When police pulled a vehicle over, a man exited it with a shotgun, apparently raising it in the direction of at least one officer, police said, citing preliminary details.

An officer shot the man three times, police said, and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. His updated condition wasn’t immediately available.
Careful ladies and gents.

Area 2 gun team or rather South Area gun team as they are called now had one of their guys do the shooting. Good shooting from what we been hearing. Those gun guys don't mess around. Police response to the scene very good with so many police making stops for the second offender. Time after time the gun team are doing search warrants and still proactive in this day and age. Stay safe.

Oh boy, another mutt on our streets with a sawed off shotgun pointing the gun at our undermanned working police officer. Glad this officer came out okay and sent the mutt to the hospital. Another offender arrested with a weapon recovered. Just another night in Chicago. Now with all this day by day, night after night crime, why in Gods name are we holding the NATO meeting in May again? To showcase the City of Chicago? What bull. The gun team members did a great job tonight and a real credit to the officer who not only ran after the mutt but hit him three times while the officer was running and shooting at the same time. Maybe a movie contract in the making? Glad the police came out on top this time also. Crime is happening all the time lately despite all the cameras and ideas of zone patrols, etc. The mutts are bolder then ever.

We can't begin to take back the streets and return them to the law abiding until they are vocal enough and supportive enough of their police to demand that peace be restored, here and across the nation. It is time to place this issue front and center and not let liberal intimidation and doublespeak control us any longer. If we do not step up now we may be seeing the end of our great nation. We have been beaten down and lied to enough. If America is not in crisis now, then what is it going to take to effect a positive and lasting change.

Its getting to the point that a police shooting won't even be newsworthy anymore. This is becoming such an epidemic of assholes pointing firearms at police and the police taking care of business, that it will become a 5 second blurb just before the commercials. Stay safe out there and don't second guess yourself in a deadly situation. Part of our job is to go home every night!

Amy Rule, the Racoon's wife, wants to take NATO folks around Chicago to show off the city, How about Englewood on that tour. Let world leaders see how short handed the police are and how out of control the Ghetto is because our mayor is more worried about making money off speed cameras than the lives of the people he represents. Won't happen. And why does Amy call herself Rule? Isn't she Mrs. Racoon.

Now we have Obama getting on the Little Trayvon train. Trayvon was the 17 year old shot in Florida by a neighborhood watch guard. This area is a gated community and who knows what this yoot was doing in there. All of the media and Rev extortionist have latched onto this shooting. We have dozens of kids shot every week in Chicago and no one gives two fucks. Black, Latino, or White. If this movement is coming out of the Dem White House to sway this election it is going to backfire. So many of us are fed up with the government with the economy making a fuss out of this lad getting killed isn't going to go over very well. If the guard was wrong he will be punished. All these corrupt Revs try to do is keep the "Guilt" bullshit going about slavery. I don't see these same assholes marching on the White House over the economy.

Like every other copper reading the outcome, I too am glad the police are OK, but you bonestrokes need to get over yourselves. Trust me when I say you're not the first and you certainly won't be the last copper to have a weapon pointed at them. It's over, move on, and enough with the preamble to the Godamned war stories.

Maybe the soaring aggravated batteries and homicides will be to Emanuel and McCarthy what the blizzard of 79’ was to Bilandic and his administration. Things will change when the bullets start flying on the 4200 block of north Hermitage. Even some random fireworks tossed in the alley or down the block (so as not to get caught) by some of the folks being held hostage in their homes by these savages would prove the point. I’d piss my pants laughing when the security detail calls for a relief for an equipment change. The urine and skid stains would be uncomfortable to sit in for the rest of the tour. Hey Hey ho ho Emanuel and McCarthy have got to go. Dump the squirt and fire the east coast narcissist!

Old vet here. And, unfortunately, am not and never have been cop. But, I can shoot! I say give the police open season for a month, with back-up from vets. I have a Sturm&Ruger Mini-14 (.223 with 30 round clips!), which I would be glad to deploy. You guys&gals in blue know who the shits are. One month of open season, we got a different country! Well, enough daydreaming. God Bless all of you, and be safe!

Sawed off shotguns are easy to make. Hacksaw and a shotgun.

Not as easy to conceal as a pistol but with great intimidation value.

And they do conceal ok with baggy pants and hoodies.
