Nice Numbers
These are numbers to be proud of - in bizarro-world:
- At least 10 people were wounded in shootings throughout the city – mainly on the South Side – Thursday night and Friday morning. Since last Thursday, at least 82 people have been wounded or killed in shootings in Chicago.
We've heard tell of entire nations that don't have the numbers that Chicago put up this last week.

You can only stand behind bullshit numbers and statistics for so long. This percent and that percent doesn't matter when bodies are piling up and the hospital emergency rooms are jam packed with shooting victims. Much of this is because of piss poor management of this city and police dept. But as long as the crime doesn't reach the powers to be in this town they could give a shit less. Your pain my pain.
82 people wounded for one week.
At a mere $10,000 dollars a pop (pun intended) for and ER room visit we're talking almost one million dollars the hospitals will be on the hook for.
Oh well... we'll just have to jack up everyone else's health care cost to pay for it that's all.
But it's all good as long as they take it in the alley like the mayor told them to do...cause it's gang and gang stuff and don't effect the rest of us. I mean except for those minor effects on the health care system.

Anyone with the order indicating where the new sgt's/lt's were assigned?
And I'll bet we have more extortion, er, I mean " for the children " speed cameras than entire countries.
O/T: Yo! BGA, instead of messing with DSLC, how about " investigating " how our tax dollars disappeared along with the cease - fire outfit.

If only we had some sort of unit that could take information we Give it, put it in a pretty colorful format, and then send it back to us in, say 20 minute, oops, I mean 4 hours, that would help prevent crime........NOT. Has anyone noticed the Crime Prevention and Information Center prevents no crime and generates no Information......just sayin

I believe that Somalia has those kind of numbers all the time. That really puts a crimp in the tourism industry, Mogadishu is especially impacted. Hardly anyone outside of some Special Forces and Ranger Units ever want to go there.

I've been up there and they have available on their computers the most up to date information on flights, cruises, car rentals, hotel room rates and other misc. travel information that a person could possible want. Some computers have Expedia set to be the permanent Home Page.
They mess with Shaved but not with the professional travel agents working in those nerve centers at 3510.
