Gran Torino - Chicago Style
- A man was gunned down after he asked a group of people to leave the front porch of his South Side home in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, authorities said.
Clinton Smith went back inside his home in the 1000 block of East 73rd Street after confronting the group around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Someone then knocked on the door and, as his brother watched, Smith was shot as he opened it, authorities said.
Officers found shell casings and shotgun shells at the scene, but no signs of the killers.

OT-A man in Bryan County, OK. might think twice about breaking into homes after being shot by a 12-year-old girl. When the man broke into the house, the girl grabbed the gun and hid in the bathroom closet. When she saw the doorknob turn, she shot the gun. After the man was hit, she ran out and called for help. The sheriffs told KFOR the girl did exactly what she was suppose to do. The suspect identified as Stacy Jones of Texarkana is expected to survive, and so far no charges have been filed.

From a troll: arguing with the son about this today. Look, when your porch is occupied you don't ask them to get off it. They knock or not, you go out the back door around the block and up to the house. Shoot anyone on the porch then go back in. You call 911 and when the police show up later you pass it off as a drive by.
