Garry looks to be in much worse health than anyone thought. He is barely at work anymore. He won't be doing any Compstat meetings. The thinking is that he came back way too soon and is now paying the price. If you see him in person, he looks awfully sick. His doctors recommended at least three months off after his surgery and he took off only two weeks.
Don't be surprised if Garry quits before August.

Two men armed with guns robbed several people on the Orange Line CTA train this afternoon, police said.
The armed robberies occurred at 4:15 p.m. as the train was between the Halsted Street and Roosevelt Road stops on the Orange Line, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney.
The men, whose descriptions were not immediately available, went into a train car on that line and announced an armed robbery, said Sweeney.

They robbed several people and fled with items when the train arrived at the Roosevelt stop, police said.
CTA officials said they were working with police to provide any surveillance images that may have captured the incident. There was a minor delay of service as police were called to investigate, according to the CTA.
No injuries were reported.

That would be the "Honorable Arnette Hubbard" who is still drawing a taxpayer funded paycheck after her prior gig as a do nothing stooge at the Chicago Board of Elections. I almost doubled over laughing when one report described her as an iconic figure! Her claim to fame was due to nepotism -- Alderman Fred Hubbard was arrested for stealing $$$$$$ in Federal anti-poverty funds and hightailing it to Las Vegas with the loot. The G-Men found him with suitcases full of cash in his casino hotel room.
Among African American voters aligned with the Democratic machine, this was a resume' enhancer for Arnette.
