There's a troll here who likes to pop in and say things like "How can cops be Republican? You're union people, Republicans want to screw you. etc etc" We'd publish it, but he calls everyone stupid and ignorant and has a potty-mouth, so we flush it.

- How can any minority or millennial even pretend to be a democrat? The jobless rate for recent college grads is almost three times the national average. For blacks, it's double. Hispanic is above the national average, too. Almost 92 million people aren't even working.
And here's Obama and the dems legalizing another 5 million? You know what that's going to do to the wage structure? The unemployment numbers?
Got student loans? Hope you're comfortable with them. Good thing Obama infantilized that generation - stay on mom and dad's insurance until your 26, they can claim you as a dependent, and maybe you'll inherit the house since you won't be able to buy your own.
Talk about voting against your own self interests. Democrats want a dependent class....broke, taking handouts, disarmed. In other words, sheep.

Did you know that the 0bama economy created 5 million jobs in the last few years? Now he's illegally legalizing guess how many? Yes, 5 million illegals. Now, they will be able to get the earned income tax credit, tax refunds, social security that they will pay very little into, public aid, food stamps and section 8. We have limited resources and we allow this fool to flood our country with mostly illiterate 3rd world citizens. He has 2 years to go, how much will you bet he tries it with at LEAST another 5 million before he goes? How about that, 10 million people that will realize that getting on public aid pays damn near as much as working. Don't start with that minimum wage shit, it creates unemployment as businesses eliminate low skill jobs that they can do without.

The LAST THING any potential Republican 2016 Presidential candidate should be saying at this point are words like DEPORTATION. You lose an entire huge voting block with those threats. Democrats today have also lost touch with their roots. FDR's New Deal wasn't about welfare checks. It was about paychecks and rebuilding American while rebuilding Americans with the dignity of work. How far we have (not) come.

I never understood why public employee unions don't adopt a more union like apprentice/journeyman structure. I know that's my biggest issue, the fact that there's just not eenough time to weed out the bad workers without an apprenticeship.
By the time it's realized that a person is a bad cop/teacher/etc it's too late to do anything about it. Then, those people terrible at their jobs give bad names to the rest of the union.

Isn't it also democrats that screw with our pensions, and screw us come contract time. Last I looked it was Rahm & democrats screwing the retirees with healthcare costs. Healthcare costs for retirees have gone up over $700 a MONTH for retirees, just in 2 years, and that's ALL on the democrats.
Just be glad they give everyone an A in those police programs at Calumet, lewis and Roosevelt in order to meet the tuition reimbursement requirements.

What about the Republican Bruce Rauner? He jumps on the "These pensions are unsustainable" shitwagon. He claims to be Republican with lots of Republican pals. Daley, Meeks, Brooks, Huberman etc.

I would also add this to what you said. At one time, the left and the democratic party stood for the rights and the struggle of the working class man (and woman). One may have had legitimate disagreements with what they stood for, but they stood for the worker, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or whatever category there is.
Sadly, and tragically, thanks to the influence of the Cultural Marxism of the Frankfurt school elites, the modern left and the democratic party has abandoned fighting for the rights for working people and now embraces and promotes identity politics. The modern left and the democratic party have morphed into the anti-white and especially anti-white male party. The only reasonable explanation I ever heard in recent years for a working person (a cop) being a Democrat was that Democrats represented the poor of this country.
And he said that he was a lot closer to the poor bastards than he was to the rich Republicans.
That made some sense then when maybe the Democratic plan was to bring people up by proving jobs but not now when the plan is to provide generational handouts.
Now to stay in power BHO is making more middle class poor and even importing poor to our country giving away everything we can provide.

There is no dignity to such a life and those who live in such a manner are always haunted by the wastage of their existence and tortured with profound sadness.
When it's election time it's like trying to hold back a code brown, you cant and there he is Dick Durban on TV, making a promise to "refinance" student loans. Jeez, I don't see those commercials anymore. Maybe he was exercising Democrat privilege, saying whatever he wants to get elected again.
