Almost a Darwin (UPDATE)
- A 14-year-old walked into a Northwest Side hospital with a gunshot wound to her knee Tuesday evening.
The girl — who police said was “highly uncooperative” — walked into Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center about 6:30 p.m., police said.
She told investigators that she was shot in the late afternoon last Sunday in the 5200 block of West Fullerton, police said.
Investigators learned that the girl was in a park with some of her friends playing with a handgun in a park when it accidentally went off, striking her in the knee, police said.
Her condition was not immediately available.
Condition? How about "almost terminally stupid"?
"playing with a handgun..." Another rite of passage no doubt. But law abiding gun owners will be taken to task for this dumbass.

Well youngsters have to learn how they work some way. That seems as good as any given the scarcity of shooting ranges in Chicago.
That crappy hospital changed hands so many time we now call it Our Lady of Perpetual Namechange.
But that gun was legally registered, she had her ccp, and she went for classes!!!!! Oh, wait.....
She was wounded for two days. Mom and Dad were doing a fine job of watching over their daughter.
Then again, if the parents gave a crap, Miss Angel would have been no where near that park.
Wait! Aren't the parks a gun free zone.
How shitty is the "parenting" when a 14 year old can cover up a gunshot wound for 2 or 3 days ? Don't be surprised if she becomes a mother soon and the cycle starts all over.

Having been a "fly on the wall" the future welfare breeder and family were all bitching that she was in pain... Gee funny how it's everyone else's problem 3-5 days AFTER the incident and none of the loving family members even noticed her limping around. Hospital personnel were at wits end with the whole show. Unknown fact I'd like to share...CPS schools used to teach kids the proper way how to shoot and handle a gun. Many of the older schools have remnants of a shooting range which have been converted into lunchrooms, classrooms, etc.
I'm sure this thought freaks out some liberal gun control advocates in Chicago.
Other related fact...a person who reads this blog and whom I believe was NOT BS'ing me told me the following:
Who is the largest gun owner in Chicago? That is, what entity owns the most guns in this city? You might be surprised. It's not CPD, but CPS. There are untold numbers of rifles - unpackaged - in an undisclosed location somewhere in Chicago.
These guns are left over from that period of time I mentioned above. The city apparently doesn't know what to do with them.
Here's a radical thought for all you fools who hate guns and run this city - guns aren't the problem! Why not open them the packages up, and revive this old program to TEACH kids of this city respect for a gun?! This might eliminate the need for some 14 year old kids from "playing with guns" in public places and city parks.
Let me guess....taxpayers paid for all hospital expenses.

Serious bleeding life threatening traumatic injury go to Mt. Sinai or Saint Rodgers (Stroger) Cook County Hospital. Ghetto hospitals handle them all the time and they are very good at that.
Every Chicago cop knows this, it is written more for civilians who read this blog.

There is a Catholic High School in a suburb on Chicago's western border. Used to be all boys, now co-ed. Good track record and all. Years ago they had an intramural club, like schools have Latin Club, Math Club etc; this club was Rifle Club. No one thought twice about it. They taught the students in the club all about gun safety, how to shoot and had competitions. Not once was there ever a mass shooting incident. Also no accidents.
That was then.
No Rifle Club now. None. Now liberal pukes who think guns are intrinsically evil parent the students and some teach them. No guns. No pocket knives. Usual crap. Guns are not allowed. And school shootings are all over.
And this Catholic High School run by the Dominican Friars, they have the No Guns decal with the red circle and slash through the Beretta on every window on every entry door in the place. And their are pictures of the old rifle Club on walls if you look hard enough.

Uncooperative at fourteen? When I was fourteen, I was scared shitless of the cops. I was even more scared about what my dad would do to me when the cops brought me home.
The missing factor?
The logic on stopping guns (illustrated below) matches the logic our govt and school leaders use for stopping teenage pregnancy and STDs.
HOW? It goes like this...
"Wise" school leadership says: "Hm...to combat the rise in teenage pregnancy and STD's, lets give kids free ---- condoms!!!"
Talk about the blind leading the blind. Isn't there a proverb or two about how a fool thinks he is wise?! Certainly applies to our day and age.
