Time for Boycotts?

Following the murder or two officers in Mississippi, certain scumbags of the community took to social media to express their joy at the deaths of the police. One such miserable excuse of protoplasm "tweeted" photographs of herself in her Subway uniform expressing support for the killers.

Subway took action after social media went nuts and the now-former-sandwich-maker joined the ranks of the unemployed. But this brings to mind a larger issue:
  • Is it time for a police organization, like the FOP or PBPA or PBA, to start taking action against businesses that espouse hatred toward police? Some place where we can notify and register complaints about their employees performing actions or gestures or supporting anti-police actions while in the uniforms or performances of their jobs?
We've heard about coppers going into places and having staff hold up their hands in the now-discredited and provably false "hand-up"gesture. Places like that don't deserve...well, we can't say "service" because we are obligated to respond to 9-1-1 calls, but they certainly don't deserve our patronage, or the patronage of our co-workers, families and supporters.

Had Subway not taken proper action against this creature, we'd have been pissed enough to never go back there again. We already don't purchase any number of products due to anti-police sentiment of the owners, operators, franchisees, etc. We've seen a list circulated occasionally of anti-police companies put together over the years to assist in economic efforts. It would certainly seem about time to consolidate and update these efforts on a national scale via the National Lodges of police organizations.

The worker is obviously a POS.

As for the company Subway, they probably don't own that store. But they told the owner it would be a good idea to ditch the bitch. Which to his credit he did. Or he may have done it on his own. Guess she will now not get into the Harvard MBA program.

But now she will probably never work again. She will be so traumatized that she will spend the rest of her life on SSI disability to something.

Yes, the stupid woman was rightfully fired by Subway as she brought discredit to their organization. However I won't go so far as to say a Nationwide "boycott" of Subway is warranted. Keep in mind I think their sandwiches are sub-par at best and not worth the money.

All that aside she was some moron line worker that expressed her personal opinion, she is not a spokesperson for the company or even the store which formerly employed her. She is just another mope with a love for social media and bullshit and too lazy to change out of her pathetic work uniform

By all means if you are met with disrespect at any establishment, walk the fuck out and eat elsewhere. But if you are talking about a national chain with tens of thousands of stores and you judge them based on one employee, you are no better than the asshole rioter/protesters.

Subway, like many other franchises, very few are corporate owned, however the stores have to conform to corporate standards and conduct. The owner/franchisee did the appropriate thing, the Gov'mint will continue to support the rodent.
Believe it or not, many employees of corporate companies don't like the police. From Subway, Dunkin Donuts, the CTA and checkout clerk at WalMart. Narrow minded twits are taught to hate police and whitie. They grow up to be spokespeople for the struggle and oppression of all people or folks.
The case of Ben & Jerry, sold out to the man for $$, they have some controlling interest, but they're part of a conglomeration now. Their view are the same but their message was stifled. Now we have a sitting President with the same ideology.
Some people hate us and some don't. There will always be people that will never get my service or protection, even more so these days.

If I chose to boycott a business, it would not be because I assumed everyone there was wrong. It would be because the business fosters, or condones (or both) a mindset or ethos which I find intolerable.
I'd be sure to let the business know exactly why I was encouraging others to boycott them and what actions would be required to bring my business back through their door.
In this situation, Subway was clear they do not condone their employee's behavior, they took action and they made it very public, for the benefit of their employees and their consumers. So, I remain an occasional customer. If they didn't, I wouldn't.

I work in the 025th district I had the opportunity to go eat at Popeyes at 6622 w Fullerton near the brickyard. Well as we just finished an arrest my partner had a taste for Popeyes. As I walk into the store the cashier/manager Darius raises his arms up in the air and says to me hands up don't shoot! I was like what did you say? He said you know because you Chicago cops kill my people! I was like I'm leaving now. But because the guy I was working with didn't want to leave we stayed and ate. Long story.then Darius began to chuckle and laugh about it like it was funny. I was so pissed off I contemplated on what to do because it really pissed me off. So I wrote to their corporate headquarters. The next day I got a call from their head customer service rep and the district manager. He called and apologized for the guys actions and they terminated him the next day. He offered me a free meal and I declined. I told him I would let every cop know about this place. But he said that this is not what their company is about and told all the employees to leave their politics at the door. It gave me satisfaction to know they fireflies ass but I won't go there anymore.

This has happened a lot of times; it's amazing how fast F__ebook can get you fired -- rightly or sometimes wrongly. I do, however, encourage criminals to keep posting photographs/videos of their actions, posing with the bodies of their victims, etc. A lot of cases have been made off this stupidity.

Me, I live here in the real world, not online. Funny how people who object to "government surveillance" willingly put up more information about themselves in a public place than the "government" could possibly gather.

First, speak for yourself, because you're not talking about me or how I engage with people.

Second, since you're speaking for yourself, clean up your act and stop treating people badly.

If a boycott list is published,

I would also like to know where to go to reward right-thinking law-abiding family businesses when I turn away from leftist, liberal thug-loving shitholes.

There are many people who are for the police but you know how we loose them? With bullshit traffic tickets. We stop and write old people and mother,s and a lot of decent people for minor stuff that we ourselves do every day. And then we also come on strong with them like they are criminals or something. They are not habitual traffic offenders we just want our ticket and its a easy one to write. we want people to be for us then we stick it up their butt the first chance we get.
