No FEMA Money for You!
Missed this from a few days ago - Baltimore is going to beat Chicago to "Detroit II" status:
- The Federal Emergency Management Agency has denied a state request for disaster aid to cover the costs associated with the rioting and unrest that broke out in Baltimore after the death of Freddie Gray.
W. Craig Fugate, FEMA’s administrator, wrote in a June 12 letter to Gov. Larry Hogan that federal disaster aid was “not appropriate” for such an event.
“Therefore, I must inform you that your request for a major disaster declaration is denied,” Fugate wrote.
Spokeswoman Erin Montgomery said Friday that the Hogan administration “is reviewing FEMA’s response and will make a determination about the appropriate next steps, including a possible appeal.”
An actual intelligent decision from Washington DC - color us surprised. Enjoy the bed you shit in Baltimore.

The Obama mis-Administration denied the money on purpose. This gives the Baltimore politicians an excuse to provide the rioters another "space to destroy" next time. "We could not stop the rioters because we could not afford to pay for the police."
Finally---a good decision out of D.C.
I'm sure Obama will overturn that decision.
Only a matter of minutes before the phone in the oval office rings over at FEMA and they get ordered to put up the money. Another slap in the face to taxpayers. The friends of the President, Sharpton and Jesse incite riots, control the narrative that cops are racist murders and that black people are still slaves because the American people are still racist. So, even though they all know it to be false, this President will get away with another nail in the coffin of the American Middle class and will end up making us pay for the race baited rioting and destroying that will continue to plague this country.
They should have gotten the money to compensate the injured officers.
Let those who dwell in those neighborhoods deal with it. Bust and burn your stuff, oh well..
Put all these unemployed people in Baltimore to work cleaning up the debris from the mess they made. That will keep them busy and out of trouble.

DEA: Prescription drugs stolen in Baltimore flooding the streets

"(CNN)The open-air drug markets of Baltimore are flush with new product this summer. The source, at least in part, is more than 30 pharmacies and clinics looted in riots following the death of Freddie Gray in police custody.
"More than 175,000 doses of opiates and other prescription drugs were stolen and are now on the streets, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration. Enough Oxycodone, Suboxone, Morphine, Fentanyl and other drugs, says the DEA, to keep the city's drug users high for a year.
"In a city with a large heroin-addicted market, the influx of looted drugs is adding to the problems facing police and city officials already struggling to deal with a sharp rise in shootings and murders. Law enforcement officials believe the new flow of prescription pills will breed new addicts and more violence. Many of those addicts will turn to cheaper heroin from the open drug markets later.
"In the neighborhoods surrounding where Freddie Gray was initially arrested, more vacant homes are appearing, more shops are closing, which means "the drug dealers have the corners for themselves," according to Tuggle.
"According to the DEA, the influx of drugs on the streets is inflaming turf wars between gangs and independent drug dealers who are competing for territory, which is vital to a drug dealer's revenue stream.
"In some cases you have the gangs taxing other gangs or independent drug dealers," Tuggle says. Other times, gangs feel their territory is being threatened, which leads to a disruption in the balance of power and "that's only going to lead to violence."
"That partly, police say, explains the 42 murders in May, Baltimore's deadliest month in 15 years..."

Sheriff: ‘I Was Sick To My Stomach’ After Being Told To Stand Down

"BALTIMORE (CBS BALTIMORE) — A Maryland sheriff who traveled to Baltimore to help law enforcement stop Monday’s riots told 105.7 The Fan that he was stunned when officers alerted him of the orders to stand down.
"Michael Lewis is the Sheriff in Wicomico County, and was also a Sergeant with the Maryland State Police. He joined Ed Norris and Steve Davis on Thursday to talk about the alleged controversial orders the police were given during the riots.
"We could smell that putrid smell of burning tires and a city on fire as we came into the city...
"I was sick to my stomach like everybody else. … This was urban warfare, no question about it. They were coming in absolutely beaten down. The [city officers] got out of their vehicles, thanked us profusely for being there, apologized to us for having to be there. They said we could have handled this, we were very capable of handling this, but we were told to stand down, repeatedly told to stand down,” he said.
"I heard it myself over the Baltimore City police radio that I had tethered to my body-armor vest, I heard it repeatedly. ‘Stand down, stand down, stand down! Back up, back up, retreat, retreat!’ I couldn’t believe those words. Those are words I’ve never heard in my law enforcement vocabulary,” he said." "Baltimore City police, all law enforcement agencies are very capable of handling that city. They’re trained to handle that city. These guys were hearing words that had never been echoed in their lives, in their careers."

In a perfect world, Baltimore's mayor would lose every penny she has in some small payment toward repairs.
Shouldn't the corporations that sponsor these events that attract terrorism be held responsible for buying insurance to cover it all?

FEMA director Craig Fugate has publicly stepped down from his position citing "anal health" reasons. In other news, Jessie Jackson Jr is rumoured to begin a new government "work from home" program sponsored by the Obama administration specifically geared for recently released convicts.
SCOTUS will decide that FEMA must provide the cash the feds get from all those non-rioting taxpayers
