That's the Bears We Know

As the preseason winds down, the Bears are approaching mid-season form already:
  • The final score wasn’t as bad as last year’s thrashing by the Seahawks in the third preseason game. But the Bears starters’ dress rehearsal against the Bengals still was disheartening.

From a growing list of injured players to a sluggish, unproductive offense to breakdowns on defense, little looked good for the Bears in a 21-10 loss Saturday night at Paul Brown Stadium.
But hey, the Cubs.....oh wait, they're stalling. And the less said about the Sox, the better.

Da Bears did have a rare off night. Never fear, they will come roaring back like the mighty locomotive that they are. You can beat your money on it.

Remember how Daley said that we taxpayers had to revamp Soldier Field in order to bring in the additional revenue to make the BEARS more competetive?
Oh well, at least keeping it part of the Chicago Park district lets the mayor get his free sky box and give away tickets to BLACK HAWKS rallies

But lets not forget how much the Bears and the Sox pay for rent... oh wait, they pay nothing! Tax payers suck it all up because the owners have that sweetheart contracts that say if they suck they don't pay.

That was one ugly f--king game.

Besides the disastrous Pass Blocking -- 'mostly' from Right Tackle with Leno & Mills, the run game wasn't much better and Matt Forte BETTER get his shit together.

If I was him I'd be looking over my shoulder, the other two backs looked pretty damn good. Rookie Jeremy Langford was most impressive to me and that small guy from Atlanta should be a keeper.

Bears? Why bother talking about them? They'll never improve as long as fools keep buying tickets.

That was a painfully dismal game to watch.
I know it's preseason but I saw no glimmers of hope in that game.
Is it too soon to say wait til next year?

Bears are in the tank and the season hasn't started.

Sox are toast.

Cubs are choking as they have the last 100 years or so.

Go Hawks, I guess.

observations from the cheap seats:

White Sox....too bad, but no surprise that they cannot compete.....

Cubs: Wrigley euphoria, the Cubs faithful finally turn their seats around so that they can actually see a game being played, instead of taking selfies....anyway, they may make the wild card, but there's no way they get past the Dodgers or Cardinals....

Bulls: they may show up....will Rose actually not get injured for a few games?

Bears:....they should make a statue of the family siblings "lackluster and mediocre" and install it in front of the stadium......somehow, Cutler's got to go, big contract and all, and.....whoever the coach and GM are need to look for real talent, where ever it is....

Hawks....a championship franchise, but can they compete in the future, and injuries are always a question......

i am not a bears fan, although i have appreciated some of their players over the years.they will beat GB the 1st game, then spiral to the bottom.GB not too far behind with their injuries and piss poor defense.DET & MN top of the conference this year.i do not bet on games, maybe a pool here or there.just my 2 bucks worth.

Pick a New Team!

How about Green Bay? They won How Many Superbowls? So what if their fans are insufferable, you can mow be an obnoxious prick too!
Detroit Lions? They may be bad, but they aren't Teh Bears!
Minnesota Vikings? So what if they lost Four (4!) Superbowls, at least they made it to 4 Super Bowls.

Or go AFC, Half your buddies will not know if "your" team won or lost! And None of Them Will Care!!!

We were watching the Bears game and they had a commercial for Bears season tickets. I can't remember the last time I saw that? Guess they don't have a long waiting list anymore. Are they getting so expensive that you need a corporate sponsor just to buy seats?

A Dude showed up to pick up his sister at my side gig. Sports conversation broke out & w//a stoic face he said he could see Da Bears winning ten games this season.
That's simply unreasonable. It's gonna be UGLY. Scores ran up, Cutler generously completing passes to everybody on the field regardless of jersey colors, and mind boggling plays that end up on National Sports Coverage.
There's gonna be a lot of players in this team that if they didn't play for Da Bears they wouldn't be in the league.
Go Bears
