Refreshing Change
Looks like we're retiring early!
- Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears made a bad day even worse for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Cutler led the Bears to a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns Sunday, the second an alert toss to Matt Forte with 18 seconds left, giving them an 18-17 comeback victory after Kansas City lost star running back Jamaal Charles to a potentially serious knee injury.
Chicago (2-3) trailed 17-3 early in the third quarter when Charles went down while trying to make a cut. He had to be helped off the field, never putting weight on his right knee.
The Bears quickly seized the momentum.

We are the Bears shufflin crew.....
Like a steaming locomotive, when they are hot Da Bears are HOT. They really looked good against the Chiefs and were the masters of the field. We love ya, Go Bears.
Next week the 0-5 Lions at Detroit and then the bye week.
QB Matt Stafford was so bad yesterday, he got benched.
Yet the Lions are being given 3 points.
I see the Bears winning this one and taking a 3-3 record into the bye week and having the two weeks for a lot of guys to heal up a lot of nagging injuries and coming back strong for the final 10 games.
I'm not talking playoffs here, but this coaching staff is making this team believe they can win. I mean, let's face facts... Those 1st 3 games were pretty much unwinnable but I could see an 8-8 or even a 9-7 record this year.
GO BEARS! AND GO CUBS! AND GO BLACKHAWKS!
The Bulls and that little pussy gangbanger D Rose I could care less about.
Playoffs, playoffs, PLAYOFFS, you wanna talk about playoffs? Playoffs?
Signed,
Jim Mora
Air up the tires on that Bandwagon! You should be able to get a few weeks out of it before reality sets in.
Hey kids.... I know I've been away, but I was in Europe betting on some real football. I took Manchester United to win, and won big!!!! Well kiddos I'm back. I hope everyone's been doing well this season and picked the Bears to cover rahm! I did! I'll be celebrating at the 023rd district glory hole!!!! Well kittens see you next week with my picks
Cutler still sucks!
If you are thinking playoffs, please report to the Random Drug Testing Unit, 3510 S. Michigan Ave.
Don't get your hopes up. They're still the Bears.
The Bears are really impressive. Now that they are on a winning streak, nothing can stop them.
How about a logo for the only team playing meaningful games right now!? Oh wait...I forgot...SCC is a south side hater! Lol!! Been a rough season for ya SCC? Hey...you can keep bringing up the 05 white flukes if it makes you feel better!
Wasn't the two Bears scores in the 2nd half the direct results of pass interference penalties? Yeah I think so. What a gift eh?
i turned the radio off at the final two minute warning. finished with housework, i went to the tavern. no- one was speaking of a win. maybe nobody watched until the end!
is this for realzies? will four wins (tampa) get us into the playoffs?
"Crown em " and thank the ref that gave k c that bullshit pass interference penalty

What the hell are you talking about? What are you smoking? We haven't mentioned the Sux except in passing since....well, since 2005 come to think of it, when we congratulated them for winning. Which we'll be sure to do if the Scrubs win anything this year.
We are hockey fans and don't follow baseball. How many times do we have to say it? Try to keep up here asshat.
Back-up running back Jacquizz Rodgers was placed on IR today with a broken arm.
They actually mentioned McNallys during the Cub game the other night. The've been Cub hating, giving free beers for opponents home runs for years.Sorry Mike, hope Phelcher and Jesse don't stop by on their way to Chucks.Go Cubs!
I'm not thinking playoffs, but a 7-9 record is certainly not out of the question! Yay Bears.
SCC - Sorry to say this - but your premature exuberance makes you look like a Cub fan. To quote the recently passed Yogi Berra,"it ain't over until the fat lady sings." I hope you're right - but they have a long way to go.

Premature exuberance? Of the Bears? Are you soft? Or they don't have sarcasm where you come from? Because we've been doing this shtick for years now.
Last year I really thought the Eagles had a chance. Now that Kelly has torn apart the team and we're 2-3, it'll be another dismal year for Philadelphia fans.
On a brighter note, my son came in on Sunday when I was watching the game, paying absolutely no attention to the TV and says, What's the score" & I said "Nothing-Nothing" & he says, "Who's winning" and I say, "Da Bears"! Ferris is a classic!
Yeah, not really humorous as the movie, but I crack myself up sometimes!
