Holy Cross Update
From the comment from a post a few days ago:
- FYI: This nurse has put in her resignation and is no longer an employee of HCH.
Hopefully true. And hopefully, the licensing board is looking into it, too.

We understand tired. We understand busy -- but that was a patient who needed your help. If you'd acted decently and professionally, you'd still have a job. Hopefully you've learned a lesson.
"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
The nurse will just go to another hospital and get a job. She and the hospital needs to be sued and a letter of complaint be sent to the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. This nurse should not be allowed to skate free so easily and do to another first responder as she did in this case.
Sad that it was necessary.
Glad it happened.
She needs to be watched. We don't need her going to any other hospital where police take their families.
This is about time happy Father's Day
I was hoping this was just a rumor about the nurse. But if she put in her resignation it looks like its true. Wow, refusing medical service to a patient. It only gets stranger by the day.
Good
Good, fuck her.
It is not enough to view this nurse as a singular act. What was her background, where was she from, what made someone who takes an oath to help others, so filled with hate? Was she mentally disturbed, was Race a factor? Nurses, Paramedics are the last remaining parts of our team. We used to be able to think of Prosecutors as part of our team, but these days they would prefer to prosecute cops. Medical Emergency Personnel are still part of our Team, and it is important to know more about this nurse. If Emergency Medical Personnel is also turning on cops; then you really are on your own! Baby"G"
I would almost say keep an eye on that one (facebook/twitter/instagram etccc) and keep notifying the new employers and schools etc...
Nice
If I were a doctor I would like to turn away gang bangers, thugs, welfare queens, etc. but I don't think I would be allowed to turn them away. So how does this nurse think she can turn away a police officer?
Now the license must be taken away. You can't pick and choose who you want to take care of. Could you imagine if doctors stop treating bangers that were shot?
This was a major incident of discrimination against a patient. Don't forget to go after the hospital's accreditation. They absolutely have to get that little gold-colored look-at-us plaque to hang in the lobby, year after year...

The attitudes around "healthcare" these days are becoming insufferable. Act like they're doing you a big favor.
Death in the family, you get a speech about how hard things are for Walgreens.
Someone in my doctor's office yesterday -- "If you have to call, best time is this particular one-hour time slot. The rest of the time, I'm busy doing my work." (Resentful tone)
Your work is taking care of ME.
Another favorite when you need something -- resentful tone again. (Thing is wearing scrubs, like she needs them to run a Xerox machine. I'm surprised she doesn't have a stethoscope to listen is the insurance paper coming out OK.)
"There are other patients here!"
I just say, "I know. I'm one of them."

File a lawsuit now.
Whats her name? I ll draft a letter.
GOOD!! She should never work as a Nurse again.

Reports about restaurant employees refusing service to police officers have become routine -- but the people who refused to decorate a cake for a gay couple ended up paying a huge settlement and losing their small bakery. "Catered-to constituencies," as the man says.
There is even a nutty woman up in Maine who is refusing entry to her two restaurants "by anyone who owns, or supports the ownership of, AR-15s." Not carrying the thing into her place, you understand, just "supporting." Must have ESP.
Owner of Maine restaurant is slammed by gun advocates for banning AR-15 assault rifle owners after Orlando massacre
* Anne Verrill made the announcement on Facebook Tuesday
* Verrill said she didn't want customers who 'own or condone' AR-15s

I don't need to say what would have happened if she had tried to lock out "radicalized Muslims on the FBI watch list with extensive connections to suicide bombers and unusual foreign travel histories."
...and Obama's Department of Homeland Security wants to eliminate the use of the words "sharia" and "jihadi."
Seriously.
Obama wants to hit the one million mark on Muslims allowed in on "green cards" by the time he leaves office for Hawaii. Guy's on a mission.

I hope Roseland has openings.
...and guess who she'd be so glad to see to walk her out to her car at night...
Outstanding.
Get her name and a lot of us will follow-up on this bitch. Once you have her name we can contact the licensing board and express are concerns about a nurse who refused to treat a patent because of his or hers occupation.

You were hoping it was a rumor? The officer's wife posted it publicly, so anyone could read it. His partner's wife re-posted it. Not too hard to verify it. Maybe two mouse-clicks and a phone call.

Exactly.
They probably told her she could resign, or they would fire her.
So she's out of work for a few days, gets another job with another hospital and nothing really comes of it.
Then she inflicts her bias on another police officer another day, hopefully not in a life-or-death situation.
She'll be working at Sinai soon
GOOD. I'm happy to hear that. If it is true. But her and the hospital should still be sued.
And she should be sued personally. I'm sure the LEO is traumatized over not being give
fair treatment by the hospital...ijs
Hate crime!
Roseland nurses and staff are always good to CPD. Give them that much.
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, These people do no play games when people with cause beef on MD', nurse', etc. They will revoke an asshole' cred.' You can move out of state and it follows them.
Same things with Lawyers, scares then shitless when they get caught fucking a client.
If a person has a professional license, and they fuck you, beef and settlements, etc, happens.
Why in the world would you go to a Ghetto Hospital? I would rather die than go there.

You got it, my brother. No prob. But after you've seen someone brought in convulsing from local industry, bad forklift accident off the 4' high loading dock with them 600 lb. drums, and nobody even knew where to start on treating a traumatic brain injury, well...colors a guy's perceptions.
Always willing to listen...one thing I like to hear about is good care for ANYONE who comes in.
"Beat Down Lives Matter," especially when they've taken a heavy hit.
Stay safe. Have a great one.

NOW. I would agree-- especially after the "healthcare" bunch got the SOL shortened for themselves.
You can be too sick and too upset to file malpractice within this time, having a bad enough time just trying to cry and deal with consequences and eat and keep clean clothes on. It goes by fast. If you can afford a lawyer, ask about a "tort."
If I was a LaQuan type -- on PCP waving a blade -- lawyers' fine sedans would be colliding with each other outside, people would be crowding in to fly me to Geneva to testify before the United Nations - all expenses paid -- and I would have all manner of "activists" and "pastors" and "fambly spokesmen" crowding into major press conferences.
This alleged "white privilege" ain't all it's cracked up to be, lemme tell ya.
"Money makes the mare go."
Q. So where does it all come from for people born to the jailhouse, the ones at the absolute bottom of civilized society?
A. Massive "community support" of those instinctively, unthinkingly perceived as "our own" -- no matter what atrocity they have committed.
