- Attorney General Jeff Sessions is reinforcing threats to go after sanctuary cities, warning the administration may withhold federal crime-fighting funds for four places struggling with gun violence.
It is the latest threat made by Sessions in his public campaign to force cooperation between local authorities and federal immigration officials.
The Justice Department sent letters to police departments in Baltimore, Md., Albuquerque, N.M., Stockton and San Bernardino, Calif. telling them if they wanted federal help to root out drug trafficking and gang crime, they’d have to work with federal immigration authorities.
Among other things, the Justice Department said they must give the authorities access to jails and provide advance notice before releasing someone in custody who is wanted on immigration violations.
Stop talking about it and pull the trigger. Maybe arrest a few mayors and sheriffs who refuse to follow the law of the land.

Find one or two actual violations and then arrest everyone that voted for the Sanctuary Laws.
Make an example of one city full of politicians.
Personally I would pick a big city full of Blue State Assholes, like Frisco or LALA Land. Maybe Chitcago?
Arrest them. Charge them. Convict them. Sentence them.
The rest of them will fall into line quickly.
If they don't fall in line, the citizens of several cities get a chance to pick better politicians.

If the cities were refusing to comply with mandatory integration, the feds would send in the National Guard and an army of FBI. They would withhold all federal funds, not just law enforcement funds. Withhold education, HUD, WIC and all other funds.

Why do the authorities in these sanctuary cities insist on ignoring the fact that illegal immigration is largely responsible for the drug trafficking and gang problems they have? Why do they insist on pretending that illegal immigration somehow benefits the tax paying legal citizens?
Federal initiate a crime investigation into each sanctuary city with the target being the mayor or city manager. Making statements and signing legislation making the city a sanctuary city are evidence to start the investigation. Impanel a secret grand jury for each of the cities and mayors/city manager. Let this all leak out. See the rats run around trying to figure out how not to be held accountable for violating federal law.
Then indict. Plea bargains will commence in 3, 2, 1.

Who the heck is Rahm (or his predescesor) to enact his opinion on Chicago being a sanctuary city? It wasn't in the ballot. It wasn't his platform when running. If Rahm thinks it should be, then it needs to be the decision of legal Chicago residents by vote in a referendum. At that time, if the vote went his way, he would be speaking for Chicago when he goes against Federal law. He won't do it because he knows his opinion will be voted down.

So Rahm is going to burn up taxpayer's money fighting taxpayers but favoring illegal immigrants. Another one of our left wing communist politicans, Alderman John Arena 45th Ward (016 &017) was just down in Austin Texas sticking his nose into their business. He was protesting Texas Senate bill 4 which allows law enforcement to question immigration status and punish local officals (like Chicago's Rahm) who refuse to cooperate with Federal immigration authorities. He sure doesn't have have the taxpayers interests in mind.
Now we are throwing more money into this. We are suing the DOJ even before they even cut the money. The funny thing is if the $3,000,000.00 is being used to buy squads. Then where the hell is the squads?
