Cleared by numerous investigative bodies, and yet, here it is opened once again:
- The city agency charged with investigating police misconduct will reopen an inquiry into the 2014 fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in Lawndale that prompted protests and a federal lawsuit, officials said.
Roshad McIntosh died after being shot by a Chicago police officer on Aug. 24, 2014, near Polk Street and California Avenue in Lawndale.
Police said McIntosh was part of a group being questioned by police at the intersection when he tried to flee. He pulled a gun and was shot, and that the gun was recovered at the scene, police said.
However, witnesses told McIntosh's family that he was not armed and was kneeling on the ground with his hands in the air when he was shot. Protesters compared McIntosh's death to the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo., a few weeks before.
And if anyone remembers (especially the idiots in the media), the investigation and autopsy in Ferguson proved beyond any shadow of a doubt that Brown didn't have his hands up, was actively charging the officer and left pieces of his fingers in the squad car after wrestling over the officer's gun. Great fucking comparison you morons - a case in which the officer was cleared by local, state and federal investigations.

Fair enough -- this one time. But the truth is there are so many forces arrayed against pro-active policing in the Chicago ghettos that it is simply not worth it: neither for policemen and women whose careers and lives get derailed for trying to do the right thing, nor for taxpayers who get creamed over and over again so Rahmmy can keep buying votes.

OT- Yesterday I watched Carol Marin interview Dan Webb regarding the Koschman Homicide investigation. Webb says that no conspiracy or coverup was found by his investigation. You'd think end of story right? But, today Tim Novak of Scum Times does another hit piece about the Koschman Homicide investigation and smears Sgt. Cirone for getting overtime while on administrative duties, breaking down his compensation to the penny as if he was stealing it. No mention of the Sgt.s 45 minutes a day per contract or required court overtime per contract etc....Reading on, Novak smears Andrews, Salemme, Walsh, et. al. in the same way; breaking down their retirement pay and buyouts as if they were also proceeds of the Koschman Homicide. In Novak's article Webb is quoted again. Webb considered the case poorly handled and contemplated Official Misconduct charges for some, but didn't proceed with them. All these Lawyers looking at every scrap of evidence, interviews, turning over rocks, ready to pull the trigger on any officers/bosses involved, and the investigation finds, there's no THERE there! Think what you will of the officers/bosses involved; I for one see this as the giant anti-police witch hunt trend that could point in your direction, or mine, on a whim because of the unchecked 'bonfire of the vanities' in our media. Even I almost fell for the conspiracy theory when this first broke, but now I see the truth. I'm just disgusted.....

IPRA told joe Ferguson to investigate davina Ward on an IAD potential misconduct issue. The request was made in early February. An IPRA person told me Ferguson declined to investigate the matter on 2/16/2017. His ex cop investigator told me months after it was in process. Total lies. I'm going to FBI and states attorney and ARDC. Probably won't work but I'm doing it.

I was at the use of force class the other day and the commander addressed the class. He said in summary that we need to be the police and if you conduct yourself professionally you will never get in any trouble on this job. He went on to say that most coppers now days feel that if they don't get out of the car they will never get in trouble. Well commander these coppers did the right thing. They conducted themselves professionally and they are getting ready for a witch hunt. Again, I used to enjoy playing police and catching bad guys and putting them in jail. Now , I don't give no fucks about catching any bad guys. The only thing I care about is the 1st and 16th and going home. This department is a complete joke and it is run by people that have no clue how to be the police or have any backbone. Stop playing police and you have no worries.

Approximately 80-85 percent didn't make the cut. Band together and act like cops to investigate the cheating.

Three officers turned down the offer to go to SWAT because of the pending investigation. Two were ranked high but knew they had been shown special treatment by a certain SWAT sgt who is under investigation. So they bailed after passing everything to avoid being caught.

NOT A COP HERE: I watched the video of Kyle Dinkheller multiple times. Very hard to watch. I live not far from where that happened. I do believe Officer Dinkheller had given me a speeding ticket once (I deserved it, I was speeding). I am so sorry that this is happening to our law enforcement officers. A lot of good people believe in you and what you do. Hating cops is not the sentiments of all of these good citizens. I will be travelling to Chicago next month to see family. The DNC, like the "City Hall" is a private corporation. As such, they are not actually government, they are just masquerading AS government, legal entities passing themselves off as something they really aren't. Because of this, "rights" apply to these entities as if they were persons, rather than government - and that means the restraints most of us expect to apply to government literally DON'T!
As a private corporation, there is no 'cheating' going on with these swat classes, just like there was no 'cheating' when superdelegates were used to put Hillary over the top.
The Truth is that these entities, these corporations, have owners and they are simply deciding what they want to do with their property. Are they fooling people? Of course! Are they being deceitful? Absolutely. Are they doing anything illegal? Well, no, unfortunately they aren't.

To the person alleging misconduct in the swat tryouts, it's not so much a conspiracy as it is incompetence by the sgt in charge of the tryouts and the Lt in charge of the team. Both would let the three female cheating Lts on the team if they could get another undeserved promotion. The people who made the team haven't been given any favors, they will soon find out that the team is the Special events team not a swat team. With the Lt canceling every training day to cover baseball games and concerts. He is risking every team member's Life by canceling all the training to cover things that have no swat purpose. But as long as it makes him look good and he can parlay it into something better, like georgas did, he will. The problem is the team suffers and those we are supposed protect suffer because we aren't prepared to do what we are supposed to do. Ask how many days the team has trained this year, ask what outside training they have set up for this year. The Lt has turned this team into joke of a team. Please don't take anyone hostage in this city, because we've shot our rifles twice this year, and if we had to take a shot we'd probably kill the hostage. When it happens it will be laid at the feet of our double merit Lt who has no clue.

I tried out this last time around. The graders didn't even try to hide their favoritism for their friends. Many of us could tell the fix was in. Very disorganized and dishonest. We could tell a couple of the swat guys were bothered by the lack of transparency. Anyone know who is investigating? I'm willing to tell them what I saw.

It was better years ago. Sgt CR and Sgt ML are the two worst Sgts on swat along with Sgt JH. All they care about is themselves. They now decide who comes on the team by a popularity contest. They have their little minions who do their bidding for them when it comes to scoring. Big RATS that run around with clip boards pretending they are scoring legitimately. Most of the SWAT team has lost respect for these Big Rats who are allowing the favoritism. It has become a popularity contest and the rest of the team knows it.
Morale is terrible here. The Lt sucks balls. Most of the Sgts suck. Equipment sucks. Cars suck.

There are a few Sgts and POs that do not belong there especially the ones who ran selection. Hope they all get fired!! The LT never big on training. We deserve better training. The training staff and are not very experienced or any good at teaching. The training sgt ml is a goof ball with a couple of screws loose. He already got a dude hurt pretending he's Chick Norris. All they care about is S/S DOG.
Swat is not clout heavy. The chronism and nepotism occurs at the Sgt and PO level. No phone calls from exempts, politicians or reverends.
The way it works is you have to be friends with certain guys on the team. The training staff. They will look out for you if you are one of the chosen ones.
How? Test and shooting scores are changed. Videos disappear. Secret meetings. No shoots are covered up.
99 percent of the team is not allowed to even observe or help during the swat school. The swat school is the final score. Why? Because the the rest of the team will never go for it.
Would you want a fuck up as your partner? The team doesn't want anyone that didn't meet the minimum standards. We have no say in the process. We get pissed because they come to our squads and they cannot be trained. No one gets removed from the team.
So the blame rests on the corrupt 1 percent that have made it a popularity contest. Just like the rest of the police department.

CR and ML are choosing whoever they want. They are the Sgts to blame. Guys are scarced to stand up to them and do the right thing.

Cheaters!!! Just like those that have the private study group for the Lt exam and gave the answers. Same on SWAT. The ones that gave the answers are cheaters. The ones that took the answers are cheaters.
