Still Killing Crime
- A Jeep Grand Cherokee stolen at gunpoint from a 33-year-old woman in Avondale on Friday was recovered on Monday after three people riding in the car crashed it on the Near West Side.
Officer Christine Calace, a Chicago Police spokeswoman, said that around 8:45 p.m. on Monday, Near West Police found the woman's car after three men riding in it crashed it in the 400 block of South Damen Avenue, near the CTA's Illinois Medical District Blue Line station.
Calace said that the three men fled after the crash, running to the CTA Blue Line. They were arrested by other officers at the next L stop.
Three "people of interest" were taken in for questioning and two of the three people were charged in the incident — receiving misdemeanors for trespassing, Calace said.

So now the family of the frozen girl in Rosemont is staging protests in front of the hotel where they claim there was a cover up. Let's see 19 year old girl leaves the house at 11pm Friday night to go to a hotel party where everyone has admitted there are drugs and alcohol be used. Then frozen girl is seen wondering the halls and lobby to drunk to walk. Friends decide to leave but can't find frozen girl so they notify the family and continue on their way simply leaving her behind. Family shows up and after filing a police report a search is done and girl is found in the freezer. The family has more questions then answers. They vow there will be trouble until they find out what happened.
First a toxicology report usually takes at least a week. Second the hotel has something like 100 cameras. Third her "friends" who left her there are not cooperating with the police. And finally why was a 19 year old girl allowed out of the house with mamas car to go to a hotel party where there was drugs and alcohol. If mama knew this was going on she should be arrested for neglect.
This family see $$$$ that's all this is about. Pathetic.

Welcome to my reality, it's not, is destroying this city, its been destroyed some time back.
Leaving the scene of a property damage accident? Posession of a stolen motor vehicle? In any of the collar counties these peoples and folks would be looking at serious time. Dart would say these people don't belong in jail. Sure am glad I got the fuck out.

If they weren't the original offenders who had taken the vehicle and the victim couldn't identify them then it is criminal trespass.
When 3/4 of a ward is ineligible to vote due to felonies on the one hand or sloth based on not being registered in the first place, it fits that there could be nearly 100% "turnout". This is especially true in PRIMARY "elections" where the 'party' can SEE WHO YOU VOTED FOR and also see who you didn't vote for, heck even if you voted or not! What do you folks think "community organizing" IS?
Who cares what any legislated law SAYS, when those democrats can stop any and all PROSECUTIONS whenever they want to - with "prosecutorial discretion"? Campaigns are like union contract negotiations and yall know there is more than one way to skin a cat. You can get a big raise to cover the big health insurance premium rise - or you can get no raise and no rise in premium cost. Either way, the same thing is accomplished, right?
Well, democrats promise that either the law will change what it SAYS - or - if that isn't possible then prosecutors will just knock the charges down to nothing anyways. Same thing accomplished. Stopping the felonies keeps a VOTER eligible! The "voter" cares not about their VOTE, they care only about the ability to act felonious and be let off the hook if caught. As long as they get off scott free, they will then vote for whomever keeps them scott free.

I agree. That certain demographic makes it's way up here into the city once in a while, but let them. More and more people who I never thought would CCW, now do.
In the grand scheme that certain demographic that nobody wants to address will end up like the dinosaurs.

just like with speeding. First 5 over was basically OK, but people had to stretch it to 10, then 15 over was overlooked, then 20 or more over, especially on Illinois Expressways and Tollways. Then somebodys Husband, Wife, Kid, Grandkid, Friend get killed by a Speeder, and everybody wrings their hands and cries, "What the Fuck", Why doesn't somebody do something, while they continue to speed and nobody does a damn thing about it. What is next? OK to shoot someone as long as the wound isn't fatal ? What's next ? Open Borders because it's mean to send people who broke our Laws back without ever jailing them, while others get jailed every day for breaking lesser Laws ? Then What ? People who have a work ethic have to work even longer and harder to pay for all the lazy entitled deadbeats, because they don't want to work, but want to have everything the people who do work have ? 14SEP@10:10am - Sorry, but your statement regarding felons not voting may be applicable in other states but not here. ILCS prohibits convicted felons from voting only while serving their sentence. Once released, they are now free to vote once in their own name, all other votes will be cast under dead voter's names furnished by the precinct captain and ignored/allowed by the Board of Election Commissioners. Other states forbid voting after release from prison. Madiganistan is more compassionate and forgiving unless it involves the CPD. Right, Madam Lisa?

Parolees are indeed "still serving their sentence" and by golly most of them reoffend.
Now, that small sliver who actually don't violate their parole or commit more felonies while on their "release" who actually could expunge or otherwise reattain that ability to cast a ballot that would be counted couldn't care less about doing so or even know when they actually could. One oddity in those numbers: 14, 15, 16, and 17 are all down by about 50%. As group, down from 58 to 29. Those are the only significant declines, and in four adjacent wards. Is somebody doing something right in that area?
