OT - So what's up with the 011-007 District combined Christmas party? I hear lots of PO's aren't too happy about it.
So is this a "twin brother" thing? Or a "Highest Homicide Totals" thing? What else do 007 and 011 have in common besides that?

Why do district let commanders dictate anything regarding xmas parties!
Unless the merits get the venue for free who put them in charge.
Come on guys this is the perfect time to get together and compare stupid brother stories. What could be better than to find out which one is a worse leader. You could vote and award a worst leader plaque to be hung proudly in winners office. Would make for a fun night, where's that competitive Christmas spirit.

Perfect time to celebrate all those that are no longer a problem in those two areas.
Its a “ family” steering business type a thing. Word has it, that the commnder of 011 and one of his minion sgt’s are going to get sued for canceling on a prior location. The city is going to wash their hands on that—seeing as how they on their own accords signed the papers.
Pimps and hoes costume party is being planned in lieu of not attending..WESTSIDE!!!
What else do they have in common?
They both have more beat cars than taxpaying districts.
The only way I want to see 11 or 7 is on a dice table
My advice is just don't go either way. Save your time, money and effort. Spend extra time with family and friends.

Probably because nobody wants to go to these parties anymore. Seems there's always a low turn out.

probably not enough people in either district expressed interest in attending in order to get a quorum for even a small venue.
I was just informed the Christmas party for 025 will be in the CAPS Office, as those are the only cops from 025 that plan on going.
That may end up in one of those “Stampeds”

I was still planning on attending to see the retirees until I was told Dave Savini would be the mc...not kidding.
My question is why thr hell is it still $65 a ticket when the venue would have been the same size with out each othed
10 and 11 would be better than 7 and 11, since we work together and back each other up and have the same zone. And the same assholes living in each district. Can only see 7 and 11 cauae of the brother thing.
Just be sure venue is out of either area, where your cars would likely to stolen or vandalized.

Why does 007 get all the media notoriety when 011 leads in murders and violent crimes in a landslide? Give discredit where discredit is due.
There is not a precinct/division in NYC/LA that even comes close to 011 in murders and violent crimes.
You are paid to tolerate idiot bosses and co-workers, but why in hell would I pay between $75-00 to $150.00 per person to tolerate the same asshole Stupidvisors or Co-workers. I would rather spend my money somemwhee else.

Both 007 and 011 are about 6 square miles with comparable populations. Do your homework.
Way back in the day I used to go to Christmas parties to honor the retirees. Than it became a popularity contest to adore the commander so he could brag to other commanders about the turn out. I really resented the noballs bosses twisting arms and offering to front for you to buy a ticket! That was when I never again thought about going. When I retired I didn’t bother with the nonsense! Miss some of the people but not the bullshit.....
