Getting Good Now

  • Organizers with Teamsters Joint Council 25 are tasked with protecting middle-class union jobs. They’re supposed to recruit new members and support picketing and strikes.

State Sen. Thomas E. Cullerton should have been well aware of those duties — for that was his side job for which he was compensated handsomely: $188,320 in salary and other pay, and $64,068 in and pension contributions, from the time he was hired in 2013 until he left in 2016, records show. He even got bonuses every December.

But rather than toil for the joint council – a powerful labor consortium of two-dozen Teamsters chapters in the Chicago region and more than 100,000 members — Cullerton was essentially a ghost payroller, according to criminal charges announced Friday against Cullerton in the latest shoe to drop in an ongoing corruption case.
Many many counts (three dozen?) against the cousin of John Cullerton. So who will he flip on?

Maybe this guy?
  • He’s widely considered the most powerful politician in Illinois, but there’s no proof that House Speaker Mike Madigan uses his numerous roles to influence Democrats throughout the state.

Nor that he mixes government and politics.
"no proof" of Madigan's influence? That's an interesting tactic. We suppose there's no tapes, documents or video proof - which makes him that much slipperier than the normal Illinois pol - but with testimony from assorted other people about how things get done?

Squeeze harder.

Cant help but think they are hauling in the minnows to get to the whale....its how they work. It would be a great day in Illinois if a whole lot of the mid level fools rolled over on the big boys. I think we are heading that way.

Did Lisa Madigan miss this Springfield Corruption, because she was spending most of her time in her last year of "Service," putting together the Consent Decree to destroy the Chicago Police Department? It is interesting to note as the noose gets tighter around her father's neck; Lisa is nowhere to be found.
And on the subject of Democrat Political Corruption: Rahm was driven out of Office almost 4 months ago. Rahm is a millionaire, and has landed a job in New York. SO WHY ARE THE TAXPAYERS OF CHICAGO PAYING TO GUARD HIS EMPTY RESIDENCE ON HERMITAGE IN CHICAGO? EVERY DAY, 24/7, ONE COPS IS IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE AND ONE COPS IS IN THE REAR. ONE COP IS ROAMING THE AREA, AND ANOTHER COP IS SLEEPING IN THE RESTORED FIREHOUSE WHICH USED TO BE THE BASE OF OPERATIONS FOR HIS SECURITY DETAIL. 4 OFFICERS PER SHIFT, MEANS 12 COPS PER DAY. RAHM CAN'T AFFORD AN ALARM? AN EXPENSIVE PERK, FOR A POLITICAL PARIAH, HAS BEEN AND PHONY! STAY SAFE. BABY "G"

Just like we aren't allowed to do 1970's style policing without getting jammed up, neither can these Illinois politicos do 1970's style politics. The federal government needs to make training videos for these dumb asspipes to watch routinely. Kind of like the department's roll call streaming videos we are subjected to.

You better hope that if Madigan and these other criminals go to prison that the replacements aren't a like the choice we had between Groot, the man and cop hating little bigot and Prickwrinkle, the white hating bigot, they are those things in my opinion. Madigan is a slow train wreck of corruption and never ending high taxes. If these marxists ever get in control it will be a corruption fest to even the score and a fast train wreck for the state.

Madigan invests in people who are dumb and loyal. (This includes JellyBean). Just about every Springfield D legislator who grew up through the machine can't think their way outside a box. They do what they are told. If you talk to them, they speak about him with a reverence; are protective of him; and will not cross him. It was smart to go after Tom Cullerton. Springfield likes drunk Tommy, but it gives you a link to both Madigan and John C and the unions--a trifecta. Tom Cullerton is a mentally weak guy. Tom Cullerton is not going to want to serve prison time. Have they looked at who has been funding the Marty [Moylan] Parties? Who has been funding the staffers in the state offices? Who has been allowed to use the state offices for non-state business?

Not only does Madigan have no cell phone, he has no email, and if you send him a letter, he will either have someone respond orally on his behalf, or hand deliver you something. That dude knows that mail/wire fraud (see the counts against Tom Cullerton) is the easiest way for the feds to get you, and he avoids those communication methods assiduously. Which is why the recordings of what went on in his office will be the best part. Wonder if the feds ever got a bug in his Springfield office? His Springfield restaurant haunts?

The Feds should focus on Madigan's property tax appeal business. His decades long Illinois legislative activity provided him with the leverage to force major corporations with Illinois facilities to use his law firm's services. With Joe Berrios in his pocket, it was easy to obtain an assessment reduction and pocket 1/3 of the savings. You do this on numerous downtown office buildings over a 30+ year career and you make a huge amount of money. He is the rain maker for Madigan and Getzendanner. Follow the money.

The Burke-Madigan connections intertwine like a persistent weed root system.
New DOJ hopefully will put and end to just this one political monopoly, can’t get rid of the whole lot and if anyone has been paying attention, look at who’s been getting elected lately. High level Dems are a problem for everyone, they install Party chooches and allow these lesser incompetent slugs to run the schemes that enrich only the few connected.

The Democrat Party sets up these candidates with offers of protection.
Blago was a made man and who knows if he’s about fed up after spending 8 years so far for keeping quiet, with 4 more years to go maybe the new DOJ has finally found a witness. All those pols including Washington DC’s RottenRahm and Louie Gutteratz, 2020 could be Blago’s year.

Yep, it’s only a matter of time and shows how important 2020 election is to the GOP.
Some say Illinois is thisclose to turning Red. With JBPigsters policies from abortion to taxes, finances to gun bans, social justice to law and order, the forgotten outside of Chicago Cook Co are fed up, for example Chicago once again is going to get the lion share of IL revenues just for a proven and wasteful failing school system. The entire state should be waking up by now.

Tom: That was a good break. A nice deal

Why do we need an independent company to run slot machines? How about the lottery? For the children & the schools my ass! How about the toll authority & who collects & sends out notices? Then there is the marijuana agency? How about the sports betting all over the state? Then there's the NEW ADDED GAS TAX....WHERE DOES ALL THE MONEY GO, IT CAN'T BE A FAIR CUT GOING INTO THE STATE TREASURY AND STAYING THERE! Beyond that Guvnor JellyBelly BILLIONAIRE committed tax fraud and never got charged but was elected!!! Oh I definitely have confidence these people in charge will make the new money disappear faster than ever before!!! IS THERE ANYONE WITH INTEGRITY, HONESTY & GOODWILL LEFT???
