Nepotism, favoritism and politics will never end. This is so stupid so I guess the only way is to keep the promotion process test and all out of the hands of CPD personnel.
Please god get this new sgts list out! I work in 009 and we have just gotten a bunch of morons on midnights from the new “elearning” group of sgts that I’ve ever seen. We have the M1 who is one of the biggest clueless racists who sounds like an imbecile on the radio, Then the M2 spike hair gel boy who is miserable, bitter and as dumb as they come and the m6 or whatever he is who is as clueless if not more than the M/2 hair gel idiot(if that’s even possible) Who has zero personality. I think we have gone beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel now. This crew is example number one. Time to dump the list, if these three morons are the future of our department then we’re in a whole lot more trouble than we thought.
Figures, NOTHING has changed....way to go Brown and Groot!!! Keep up with the same Bullshit.
They'll get the "merited" in one way or another.
If they make it fair, how are they going to be able to put the useless incompetents on the job?

You believe this examination will be any different than the previous ones? CPD Sergeant's exam is no different than playing electronic slot machines. It's rigged. Merit promotions can be counted. I'd be willing to bet the cheaters will take the top 300-500 spots. Good luck to all who studied :)

How did you ever think this test or any other test will ever be fair the scales will always be tilted to the clouted ones because they are so stupid they can't pass the test with out favorable help

Everyone will be required to wear a face mask and all tables will be set up so that at least six feet of distance is between another test taker. Rumor also has it that the oral portion has been scrapped due to sanitization of the three microphones and headphones that will be used

This is the REFORM that Lock Down Larry is always talking about. The tests are all legitimate because Larry and the Brown Clown say so. Remember OIG Ferguson looked into the LT's promotional exam and found no issues. This is the same IG that's looking into the cover up of the cover up of Special Ed. Its been six months and haven't heard a peep out Ferguson's office about the big investigation into the Johnson cover up. All under the watchful eye of Larry the Reformer.

If the answers to CPD tests were not given out no one would ever pass. Not saying your stupid or anything but........ Yea guess I am proof of that is your FOP or better known as FLOP. You keep making bad choice after bad choice after bad choice. Guess you really can't fix stupid.
Easiest job in the department by far. “Hardest” part of the day is logging cars. And that’s simple. TRRs are simple as a supervisor. Pursuits are simple as a supervisor and leave everyone alone and it’s a simple job.

I’ve worked so hard in a unit to earn this promotion. Watch officers have no clue how much effort it takes to be in a unit. Sure I know very little about patrol operations but that’s because I was quickly recruited to intelligence then the FBI task force came begging for my services. I’m sure you’ve heard it before. The bright one don’t stick around. Plus I’m a bad test taker and my brother’s the commander. I can be black, white, yellow, green, brown, red and LGBTQ. Really doesn’t matter what matters is I deserve the long overdue promotion.
I’m looking forward to meeting everyone on the watch.

Yeah you hit the nail on the head. I came back from furlough and was amazed at how our watch completely turned upside down. We use to have great sgts in 009 on midnights. Maybe they are just too new but you’re lucky if they even interact with you or smile. And stop calling us kids, you sound ridiculous, you’ve been a sgt for like 1 month and didn’t even pass real sgt training. Bad enough we are on midnights we have to do it with bad supervisors.

Last I heard, many years ago, going rate 10K. But account for inflation and risk of jail time or at least wire wearing aldacreatures and possible indictments lol
Now this is not corroborated, but I “heard” from a female black PO that was left out of the current Sgt. secret study group, that none other than hood rat Fenner is hosting one of these groups. Again, not corroborated, but a scorned woman has all the incentive to spill the beans.

At the Sgt. level, you’re competing for about 50% of the promotions. 30% “merit”, about 20% more have the test/answers.
For Lt., it’s tighter. 30% “merit”, another 50% have test/answers.

I wonder if the hard drive that went missing during the investigation into the 3 cheating Female noble members working at HQ was taken by IAD, and when they discovered what was on it, it stayed missing. It would explain why so many from IAD made Lt.
