Just call up the national guard for a year... things will hit the hay after Trump is re-elected. Compare his polls to Obama when he was up for re-election and you might just see the Trump trail is full speed ahead like a bullet train.

Ohare accounts for almost 70% of the city's coffers.
Ohare is operating under 50%.
On top of years of fiscal mismanagement.
Mayors that we have hated as City employees did one thing right to create a world class tourist city.
Tourism is now dead, and wont be back for YEARS.
You can't just put that genie back in the bottle.
Chicago in a scant few months has become 1970s NYC.
Our pensions and home values are fucked.
Get out as soon as you can.

"They" might not like when "WE" decide No Pensions, No Peace. It will be ugly and nobody will be off limits.

“Something is missing.....“

Why yes there there some people who are missing, the street robbers, the car jackers, the rapists, the store theft thieves, the looters and a myriad of other low lives. Macy’s clock indicates it’s 105 pm. Some of them are just getting up after partying all night. But they will be arriving soon via jacked cars and the electric sewer to start pillaging. Most of the legitimate people who would be shopping are missing too, why become a victim.

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

Honest pictures of reality are worth a million. Media will not run anything counter to the narrative. That place should be packed, Covid or not. Vanishing customers killed off shopping malls across the country. They disappeared because rampaging youth finally made them feel unsafe. They were declining before Amazon came along, so blaming it on internet shopping is a lie. Most women and some men LOVE to go shopping. In person. Mag Mile is gonna be in a world of hurt along with everywhere else that was hit. The breadth and depth of the vandalism and pillaging isn't being told by the media, but gossipnet is alive and well.

Outside of a massive physical presence by police and armed security, there's gonna be tumbleweeds and wind whistling down deserted streets.

Groot and crew have done more damage than anyone realizes.

Probably get huge exposure , and show the world what we deal with and see everyday . As the old saying , “ pictures tell a thousand words “

This photo reminds me of a visit I paid to Detroit in the late 80s for a business convention. Their people mover rail system had just opened and I took a ride around to see the downtown area. It was like this photo, no people, boarded up storefronts, all in the middle of a day mid-week. Very sad that this has come to roost here in Chicago.

Apologies to Frank.

Chicago Chicago, that toddling town
Chicago, Chicago I will show you around - I love it
Bet your bottom dollar you lose your life in Chicago, Chicago
The town that Larri Grooty couldn't shut down

On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
They riot, loot and break shit they don't on Broadway
They have the time, the time of their life
Beating a man, and assaulting his wife
In Chicago, Chicago my home town

Chicago, Chicago that toddlin' town
Chicago, Chicago The criminals will fuck you around - I love it
Bet your bottom dollar you lose it all in Chicago, Chicago
The town that Froggy Grootday manages as a clown.

On State Street, that great street, I just want to say
The stores are all boarded up unlike Broadway -- say
They have the time, the time of their life
Taking the Redline uptown and causing strife.
In Chicago, Chicago, Chicago -- that's my home town

What’s Missing?
Is it the 23 inches of snow like January 1967 ?
Is it the busy hive of shoppers of State Street Mall circa 1980?

Sickening and incredible.
The flu closed a city. Once retail goes, so will the tourism and then the hotels.
The Fear & Flight is happening again just like the mid ‘70’s.

Hundreds, hundreds I heard, are awaiting affordable bond hearings expected to return by late afternoon.

Larri LightFührer gave her OEMC führerbunker press conference and left town unnoticed again...by the way it’s been 22 weeks now since Larri’s Lockdown after the March 17th primary election.

Nothing to do in the idled big city.
Put a GPS on the truant half day Larri.

Yeah, so another couple and my wife an I were planning on a visit to Chicago this weekend, had a hotel on Michigan Ave. booked, was looking forward to some shopping, dining, and fun. Needless to say, canceled the reservation, and are spending our time (and money) in our local community. Can't say that I'm going to miss Chicago all that much. Hotel and other city taxes are punitive, and $50 per night parking is a joke. So, we'll spend our money around home, save the drive, and say good-bye to Chicago. Good luck to all law-enforcement, we respect the impossible job you have and wish you all the best. But personally, the hell with the city and its government and the "oppressed" citizens who think the world owes them something the rest of us get through hard work and staying out of trouble.

Damn... Literally a mirror image of a photo
of the late State St. Mall (1979 - 1996)
and just as deserted.

Hey Groot... You surely did strain,
grunt and royally shit yourself to
deliver on this vision, didn't you?

"But we need those "RACIST" Mt. Greenwood/
Edison Pk. conservative echo chamber dwelling
Cops and their FOP to stop resisting "common
sense Police Reform and Accountability" so
that we can make "Police Violence" and "Police
RACISM" a thing of the past."

>Fart!<

And that is the full extent of what Groot
had to run on and the mouth-breather electorate
put Groot in office.

"One of US needs to be mayor again!"

Can’t wait for them to discover the wealth and beauty of Sauganash area. Will a lot of fun watching the northwest merchants deal with the BLM crowd. Lots of nice stores and strip malls to loot and plunder just a Metra ride away. Then on to the Glen along the Metra run, in fact the whole north shore is along that route along with a lot of high end stores and merchandise. All liberal voters and very few CCW up there. Added be if it of hibiscus end rides to jack for the ride home with all of he loot.

Someone said it looked like NYC 1970s. Problem is, there were PEOPLE there. And even if they weren't rich people, or business people, stuff was going on. There's NOTHING going on in Chicago now. It went from 100 to 0 in...I'm going to say one day, the day of the initial lockdown. Since then, it's been dead. People have realized they don't have to GO there. They don't even have to LIVE close to there. So the exodus...it's just beginning. It will NEVER go back to what it was. RIP Chicago, and goodbye old friends.

Pretty soon Michigan Avenue will a have a Dollar Tree as its highest paying tenant with the roster of tenants starting off with your hotels (Four Seasons, Hyatt, Ritz Carlton and W just to mention a few) will be operated as the old motels (Robert's comes to mine) on the South Side as advertised on the Pervis Spann Show (Your All Day All Night Bluesman) as available by the hour, by the day and by the week. Your liquor store of choice on the Mag Mile will be a Rothchild's with graffiti on all the exterior walls for effect. Restaurant choices will be a Church's, Harold's, Hook's and Maxwell Street Polish for the gourmands. Shopping will be Forman Mills and Cook Brothers along with a beauty supply house (owned by mean Koreans), Dollar Tree, off brand dollar stores and arab stores. Financial institutions in the new downtown and near north will be currency exchanges, pay day loan stores and title loan operations. Chicago welcome to your new future. Macy's is planning to move from Water Tower possibly maybe to renegotiate their new lease or maybe to get rid of a money losing store.

Chicago vote for Biden and this will be your future.

As I have commented before: Chicago— as the Air and Surface ( road and rail) and Water ( St Lawrence Seaway) Transport Hub of the Upper Midwest— is “ Geographically Privileged” And not even the VILE and LOATHESOME Groot Beast can take away this geographic fact!
NO city in the middle third of the US— from the Appalachians to the Rockies— has the “ Transportation Privilege “ of Chicago. Yes, many office jobs can evacuate The Loop, but the Transportation Industry— which built Chicago in the 1840s/ 1850s—can ever leave this city, this ( as the Official Seal says, in English translation) “ This City in a Garden”!
