Chicago, Meet Baltimore
The planned destruction of blue cities continues apace:
It’s a short, to-the-point story from a local Fox affiliate, but the news is jaw-dropping. The devastation Democrats have brought to the once-mighty city of Baltimore is about complete.
A mere eight years ago, in 2015, a 30-story downtown Baltimore building sold for $66 million. Last month the same building sold for $24 million.
Another downtown building, which is currently the home of T. Rowe Price, was once assessed at $171.4 million. Today it assessment sits at about half that amount: $93.7 million.
“The property values are declining rather rapidly,” Economist Anirban Basu told Fox Baltimore. He adds that companies desperate for “staff and safety” are fleeing downtown Baltimore. Well, duh. Anyone who prioritizes “staff and safety” has no choice but to get out of Democrat-run cities.Basu adds: “The only way for Baltimore to get out of this quandary is to grow its tax base, to add taxpayers, not subtract from that.”
No, the only way for Baltimore to get out of this quandary is to vote for a change of leadership, which will never happen.
So what’s happened to Baltimore since 2015?
Well, a "progressive" mayor giving rioters "room to destroy"; a corrupt states attorney who prosecuted cops rather than criminals; a "de-fund the police" political movement; a failing school system; a confiscatory tax regime raising prices while providing less services; corporations fleeing the anti-business climate followed by people/workers who could afford to leave....
Any of this ringing a bell? Sounding familiar?
It ain't just Baltimore. And it ain't just California. Those places are on the downslope of the hill Chicago is atop, and Chicago is leaning over the edge.

I cringe at the thought of exactly where this City will be at by the end of BJs tenure. Too far in to back out now.
In the “Plandemic” video with Judy Mikovitz real-estate values were talked about. She pointed out where all the lockdown were in within t he major cities and how the most valued properties are within blocks of certain banks. She stated after the government lockdowns these properties will be sold at a fraction of their old worth, all by design.

This is a plan. If you ruin blue cities and blue states, many of the people “fleeing” are so thoroughly indoctrinated that like locusts, they bring destruction with them to the next city. When 90s hipsters grew up and left the city for the collar counties, the collar counties went from red to blue. This is precisely what they want to see in Florida and Tennessee and Texas. These people won’t change their terrible world view, they’ll just try to recreate their failed social media echo chamber with another state swapped in for a different background on their posts. The static they get from their new neighbors will just fuel the likes and they get from the fools they left behind.

Within the United States, leprosy has historically been uncommon, and most cases came from individuals who had recently emigrated to the country. But since 2000, cases have gradually been rising, doubling in the Southeastern United States over the past decade, according to the CDC.
It also noted that about 34 percent of all cases reported from 2015 to 2020 have been locally transmitted.
“Florida, USA, has witnessed an increased incidence of leprosy cases lacking traditional risk factors. Those trends, in addition to decreasing diagnoses in foreign-born persons, contribute to rising evidence that leprosy has become endemic in the southeastern United States. Travel to Florida should be considered when conducting leprosy contact tracing in any state,” the CDC stated in its latest report.

Non-cop here. Hopefully the red states will see new arrivals whose political views are red and not blue. FWIW the Chicago liberals that I know from work now think that Texas and Florida are "icky" because of the recent abortion laws, DeSantis, etc and are looking for other places to ruin.

Hate to break it to you but the Blue State insurgency continues in mass. The liberal Karens may look on Florida, Texas and Tennessee with disdain because of abortion...but the woke real-estate developers and corporations are moving to those states and they ain't hiring or catering to locals. The overthrow of Roe V. Wade simply gave Red States a short reprieve that's coming to an end.
Texas will be a Blue State by 2028 (controlled by Austin, Dallas and Houston). Florida, Tennessee and even Georgia will be overrun not soon after. Arizona and Nevada were proud Republican Red States and look how fast they fell. For every copper that relocates to Texas or Florida there's 3 purple-haired pear-shaped activists or liberal wine moms that are moving there as well. I'm afraid we're not voting our way out of this...
