The Long Goodbye

The New York Times came out with a poll this weekend, and it scared the crap out of the national democratic party. Biden loses to Trump in five of the six "battleground" states and loses the Electoral College 300-plus to 230-ish.

So now, the organ grinders of the democratic party are setting the stage to either convince potato-brain to leave or they'll stand aside as an impeachment inquiry kneecaps the president and he's forced out. They even "discovered" that everything that's been leaking out in Congressional hearings is ::gasp!!:: actually true!

• A POLITICO review of recent congressional testimony and exhibits, along with court filings and media reports, casts doubt on several statements made by Biden and his representatives.

  They include the president’s claim that he has never discussed his relatives’ business dealings with anyone and his suggestion that the appearance of emails apparently belonging to his son was the result of a Russian plot, as well as Biden’s denials that his son made money from China and that his relatives have profited off of the Biden name.

The list of people saying FJB is too old, too corrupt, too decrepit to run again is expanding hourly; the NYTimes, Politico, David Axelrod. These voices of dissent were unheard from for the past three years, but now with the global economy careening toward the cliff, two wars in the news, tensions ratcheting up everywhere, and tanking poll numbers, now it's okay to break ranks.

The only debate now is does it happen prior to or during the convention? Because if the establishment gets their way, they'll have to force out the Mad Cackling BJ Queen and that's not a good look. If the "progressives" don't get their way, then you have the antifa "protests" taking place here instead of in Milwaukee a few weeks later.
