Sixteen people ended up shot (2 dead) about seven seconds into the video. A captured still photo shows no less than what appears to be four rifles being brandished over the heads of the crowd:

The demoRats don’t care cuz it’s just a bunch of minorities shot up by other minorities. Now if a white dude was the offender shooting the minorities then the gun control crowd would be out in full force. How many days since this happened and Biden hasn’t said a word about the shooting. The revs and the National Action Network of Sharpton hasn’t voiced concern. The demoRats know there’s no money and no hay to be made of it. They don’t even care about the number of “assault weapons” and Glock “switches” that were used. ATF hasn’t published a presser. The demoRats don’t care.
The entire city of Memphis is a "community" very much like the warzones of Chicago's south and west sides. To call this a "Tennessee " wilding / shooting is an unjust insult to an otherwise awesome place to live.

Memphis has been a blue shot hole for a long time.
That picture reminds me of my stint in Somalia, minus the burning tires of course.

I moved into a deep red area in a deep red southern state after I retired. Many people from Memphis have moved to my area and every last one is traumatized even more than former Chicagoans. Stay the fuck away from Memphis.

So I'm not surprised that there is the City of Knoxville African American Equity Restoration Task Force.
"The African American Equity Restoration Task Force (AAERTF) will study, review, and identify strategic solutions to improve areas of disparity and disenfranchisement in the Black community, work with existing agencies in the community, and develop policy, programs and recommendations that will establish opportunities for generational wealth building in the Black community". And then there's the Equity Task Force Grants 2024. Sounds great huh? Yep, I want to retire there. More handouts and push for reparations.

Misdemeanors murders and shootings. Who cares? Surely not the political leadership of Memphis. The kids were just letting off a little steam. Just a few rounds of automatic gunfire and a couple of people shot, but mostly peaceful. Meanwhile in St. Louis a couple who showed up in their fenced yard with Armalites, didn't fire a shot, were arrested after some youts decided to break into a gated community and made threatening moves toward them.

Funnier thing:
Though the first comment may be intended as sarcasm, it fails to be phrased as such.
Merely constructing a single paragraph rivaling the babblings of a Kamala Harris speech may communicate to some the subtle sarcasm, if intended, as the opening short sentence is a trademark of the democrat dummy mantras.
A more impactful, a bit less subtle, comment would bullet point each sentence, here crammed into one, long paragraph, and punctuate the sarcastic intent.
Unless, of course, the commenter was authentically serious, sarcasm does not require such obtuse subtlety.
It's not neccessary yo be a brick smack upside the head, either head, yet is much better not bring a finger slipped between cheeks and crack.

There's a reasonably good private liberal arts college in Memphis, Rhodes College, in the "better" part of city, it's slogan "welcome to a place like no other". Visited it 10 years ago. Entire campus was surrounded by HIGH chain-link fence, blocks and blocks of it, two KEEP OUT the Memphis criminal element. Yup, "a place like no other": an expensive college experience similar to low-security prison.
Memphis is a disconcerting and depressing city.

We went down saw the nice development we were looking at, then being the pessimist that 37 rears of being a cop made me, I said let’s look around a bit. We went to the local elementary school,the supermarket, the hospital, and bingo— Brooklyn moves to DIxie.
