- Can you write something please for tomorrow the embarrassment that the
fucking Academy is at 1300 West Jackson on the big screen TV as soon as
you walk in they spelled the fallen officers last name wrong.
This fucking department is a giant embarrassment from head to fucking toe and when something like this gets pointed out no one gives a shit and no one changes it.
Shouldn't be that surprising. Many people were pointing out that during Conehead's presser the other day, he didn't even mention Officer Martinez's name a single time. A cop is murdered by someone who should have been in prison or detained previously, and Conehead doesn't know him. [fixed]

The 005th district caps officer takes the cake. They handed out pins for fallen officer Conrad Gary. Too bad they put his first name as Gary, and last name of Conrad. This department is an absolute joke

When reviewing and approving CPD reports one could see which officers went to parochial/private schools and which ones went to CPS.

Social promotion results in functionally illiterate students. Have to keep the graduation rates high for CPS schools even though the numbers are meaningless. Some reading at 4th grade level. No math skills or the ability to write a paragraph. Let’s not forget about the chronic truancy rate of 40% in some schools.
This screen is the first thing visitors see when they enter the academy. This reflects the state of this department and leadership that we’re under. Pure incompetence leaking at the seams of this department. Again, this is an example of CPD leadership failing to act with a level of care that other dedicated and competent bosses would exercise in similar circumstances. CPD Bosses can get away with allowing this type of embarrassment, because there is no accountability for white shirts that fail a fulfilling their role.

When I retired over 2 years with 33 yrs on the job I went to HR for my retirement star and they got wrong. You think someone would have verified the number before telling me to drive all the way to get the star to find it the wrong number. Well after waiting another 6 months they called again and said they have the correct number this time. So I’m not surprised because they don’t care. I know it’s a small matter in light of another officer being killed in the line of duty but remember to be safe and also remember your just a number to them.

This is all minor compared to a DAILY BULLETIN published in the late 80's or early 90's I believe, showing the sketch of a wanted offender as a 'stick man'. It was absolutely embarrassing to the Department as a whole. I lost my copy and should someone find a copy it would be worth seeing.
