Learn to Code Media

The legacy media is dying, and as we've been cheering it on for years now, it's a long time coming:

  • CNN is planning to wield the axe on some of its high-paid staff after dismal election ratings that cap off a disastrous period for the cable news network.

According to an explosive new report from Puck, network executives will unleash sweeping lay-offs in a bid to save the network's flailing reputation.

It comes after the departure of stalwart Chris Wallace, and amid reports senior stars like Wolf Blitzer and Jake Tapper have both been denied raises.

And not just CNN, but Comcast is looking to unload money losers:

  • Comcast said it was considering spinning off its cable networks that include CNBC and MSNBC into a separate company, as the media industry grapples with a decline in traditional TV viewership due to cord-cutting by consumers shifting to streaming.
  • The potential spin-off would exclude the NBC broadcast network and the Peacock streaming service. The company, however, is interested in seeking a partner for Peacock to help grow that business, Comcast president Mike Cavanagh said on Thursday.

For those who don't know, "seeking a partner" means they're looking for someone to split the losses with so it  doesn't affect they're bottom line as badly.

They're mostly propaganda machines for  the left and that didn't work out so well for them this cycle.

They haven’t put out real news in a long time. All the put out is propaganda. How did they figure that would end for them!

CNN is the absolute pinnacle of government sponsored propaganda. It is the primary conduit for what the Department of State wants viewers to believe. If anybody watches it and thinks they are getting objective “news” you should check yourself into the nearest mental facility.

Truth has no place at CNN.

CNN makes Pravda envious!

Cable TV in the 1980s was great. About sixty channels for $20 a month, and a lot of good programs. Now, it's hundreds of dollars a month for two thousand channels that mostly suck.

Watch CNN just to get the opposition’s point of view and see how desperate they are. Yesterday morning Jim Accosta was interviewing formed HSI Secretary Chad Wolfe.

Wolfe was going down a path which was totally destroying Accosta’s storyline. He was making total sense and it looked like Accosta was going to have a baby. He was nervous and jittery and couldn’t wait to bring on the next person to support us wacky point of view,

Makes you wonder how long Management companies can let this go on.

FYI, to all smart people here, solar panels are a complete gimmick!! it would take 20 years just to break even from the cost alone. worse than EV's

Long-time admirer and viewer of Nora O’Donnell on CBS 6:30 pm nightly news.
NO LONGER. The bias that was shown the 8 days before the election was so brazen, so biased and so offensive to my husband and I that we both said Nora has lost any objectivity. We now read the Wall Street Journal instead.

OT Learn to code might not be good advice, AI is going to kill that profession. I’m a retired programmer. The other day I went to ChatGpt and asked it how to code something we were doing when I retired using some non mainstream technologies. Mixing up some programming languages and tools that are not commonly mixed together.

It instantly gave a multi page set of high level instructions for doing it with basic sample code to get you started. It was pretty accurate. Of course you’d have to take that starting code and really flesh it out but I’m guessing pretty soon it will give almost the final code.

So for now it will help people work faster who bother to learn how to use it, but eventually it’s going to replace people. So the question is, what will be the next “Learn to xxxxx bitches”? Lmao
