Recently Peoples Gas got the law passed so they can collect some BS fee to help the "needy". Someone said it won't take long before ComEd comes up with similar bullshit. This increase allegedly is for something else but regardless it will hit everyone's pocket. ComEd CEO's salary for 2023 is listed below. WTF is that person getting so much money for?

Dear friends and colleagues,
I’m writing to share the Crime Lab’s analysis of Chicago’s 2024 crime trends that we released today.
Gun violence remains one of the most pressing challenges in America, but there are signs of progress. This year in Chicago, murders and non-fatal shootings continued to decline from their recent peak in 2020 and 2021. Despite these encouraging trends, Chicago continues to grapple with inequities tied to race and geography, as well as increased violent crime on aggregate.
Signs of progress: Homicides decreased by 7.3% since this time last year, and non-fatal shootings decreased by 3.7%, remaining slightly above pre-pandemic figures.
Shit, that ain’t nothin. The CEO of United Health Care was making 10 million a year. But then again look where it got him.
This time of year is all about traditions and ensuring they are continued by the next generation. I can't wait to fire up the golf cart and drive pass mount greenwood park with the family in tow on my way to barracos for a traditional holiday feast with pretzel sticks and cheese for everyone. Ill even let the kiddos drive the golf cart home after papa bears porridge was a little too hot. It nice to wave to all the neighbors as they express their holiday cheer in return and show their own support for this time honored southside tradition. Hopefully everyone has a similar tradition they are keeping alive.

Here’s a doozy. 3 ASA supervisors were told to pack their bags. They stood up in the conference room and had a huge fit including chanting together “we will overcome” and going on about how this world needs to purge itself of incarceration and yelling about how racist the cook county system is. Cook county racist??? Ha, the puppet masters of the cook county system have been Bobbie Steele, John stroger, Todd stroger and now Toni preckwinkle.. These are the types of mentals that Kim foxx hired. Radicalized with an agenda.

Yes, Comed's fee will likley start in the spring. The icc requires the fees. Really,it's a new law that required the icc to force utilities to create and enact the fee was contained in the CEJA act prtizker championed and signed last year. Next year, all eletric cooperatives have to implement the fee. Extra, credit foe anyone who can tell me what ceja stands for?
