He secured funding for the centers, secured all the equipment, space and training for the each area. It was Chiocca’s brain child. And then Pat Kinney took all of the credit for the ATC development and success. What did Chiocca get out of it——-NOTHING! Because of this he retired early and went to work for the private sector. Now he’s stuck working until he’s 65… typical fashion of this department, someone does all of the hard work and a supervisor takes all of the credit!

Day after day after day I read the promotions, COPA etc. fucking over the troops. Merit Fuckheads in command positions making it difficult to do your jobs. A few days ago, on this site there was mention a huge number of retirements expected this year. You know days off will be canceled for the next Summer of Love. This is not to mention the new tax hikes coming this year. It's cheaper in most red states and cities. If your family is unable to leave, there are 2 major airports to fly into for a visit. Better yet, save some of your money to help those family members join you in safer locations.

O/T: BIA Chief Talley covered for Sgt. Rasah Davis in September 2024, who was driving drunk off-duty when she ran into a CTA bus, then fled the scene. Officers pursued Sgt. Davis who fled the scene and when they caught up with her she refused to blow. She was then arrested, and never blew. She kept refusing. This was Sgt. Davis’ second DUI related CR#. Both CR#’s were unfounded. After a few telephone calls Sgt. Davis was administratively cleared of all wrongdoing by Chief Talley.
