Really Bad Rumor (UPDATE)
Someone left their gun in a bathroom at 26th Street. No one stole it or shot someone with it, so it's a routine suspension.
Someone else got arrested for Domestic Violence. It's a yawner, so it'll be a routine suspension after a year at Callback.
Someone's personal vehicle was being used to deliver heroin by a niece and her high ranking gang banger boyfriend....no charges, no impound, no demotion, and she was allowed to keep her job as the head Internal Affairs, running railroad jobs on all sorts of politically undesirable Officers while burying other investigations on politically connected Officers.
And according to a few commentators, they're going to make her First Deputy today??? We're hoping against hope that this isn't true.
Is this why all those exempts left the past few months? They saw this train wreck and they wanted to get away as quick as possible?

Rumor about copper leaving gun in bathroom is 100% true. To top it off a local reporter covering a story inadvertently found it and turned it in.
Rumor about Domestic is true, in fact there a was couple more. Your assessment is correct about them ending up in call back, however, it’s much more than a year now a days.

Most of the exempts who “left” was not by choice as the next round this week will be told to “leave” as well. Only a couple landed nice gigs except for poor old Joshua “bankrupt” Wallace who’s applied all over the U.S. and Gulf of America trying to get out but his past is haunting him when they simply google his name. If they move him to 011 it’s to force him to quit.
Watch for a mass exodus by May 15th which gets those that have the age the health insurance. I don’t see that happening. Outside of E. Carter. The prior first deputies were overall good people. They were genuinely. loved by members of all ranks. Years ago, we cried when our first deputies retired/or passed away. If something came down from the superintendent we paused, until we heard it from the first deputy. When something came down from the first deputy, you could consider it almost biblical.
Besides, the 1st Deputy has to have the ability to get people to voluntarily bust their butts for them. Chief Talley would struggle in that area because she does everything by force and intimidation. Officers would leave the department like the other eight members of the BIA did last February.
There’s really not much left on this job that I can take seriously. In fact, that’s been distilled down to nothing.
Wonder if Yolanda is related to Valdimir Talley? He was a DEI genius for the ISP.

We have a very generous medical policy. For sworn members. You can be on the medical for one continuous year getting paid with full benefits. So lets say you get demoted but you're not 55 (many stay until 55 to qualify for medical insurance benefits while retired), those demoted or who feel wronged go on the medical until they turn 55 or whatever age.
