PICA Act Unconstitutional?
Movement from the DoJ setting the stage for Illinois citizens to enjoy their Second Amendment Rights in the near future.
First is a video from our old friend Todd Vandermyde over at Freedom's Steel:
And second is a step-by-step breakdown of the Amicus brief from Washington Gun Law's William Kirk:
This is quite a significant development as the DoJ seldom inserts itself into cases at the Circuit level, preferring to wait for the US Supreme Court to step in....unless the case is so egregious in nature that immediate action is required to safeguard an enumerated Right.
Should be quite the battle.

Just become an aide like assman009 and you can carry your weapon to work and not be the police. Thats completely legal..right moser?? durrrr
So how many more months or years until we get a decision on this?
Some great news: Both Section 3 of the Hearing Protection Act (HPA) and the SHORT Act were just added to the budget reconciliation bill, in the U.S. Senate. Please keep the pressure on your state’s two U.S. Senators with at least two phone calls and an e-mail each week, insisting that they vote in favor of the Continuing Resolution budget bill with both the Hearing Protection Act (HPA) and the SHORT Act intact. Please phone the Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121. The HPA bill will remove suppressors from the National Firearms Act. The SHORT Act will remove the SBR and SBS categories from the National Firearms Act. Please keep calling and e-mailing your state’s U.S. Senators! Please mark your calendar with reminders to make those calls. Thanks! – JWR
Good luck. I really hope it works out for normies in Illinois. Again, this story validates my decision to move over 1000 miles away four years ago. Just had 2K rounds delivered to my home. No FOID, no questions, no bullshit.
funny how the dems and libs only want to take weapons away from legal American, law-abiding citizens while at the same time giving the illegals and other criminals free range on committing crimes and keeping the police from taking their weapons
Rich Miller and his band of soy cuck latte drinkers at Capitol Fax are all with their panties in a bunch over this......................
What call ISP get him locked up he’s a threat to everyone in that building
Again-- cut and run pos.
Patience Buttercup. Patience.
Now, kees me you fool!!!!
Hahahha. Come and take them.
neither the SHORT or HPA passing will have any benefit to us Illinois subjects as suppressors and SBS are still illegal in the peoples republic of illinois
Meanwhile the shitbags caught with a gun are sent home, accumulate numerous pending cases, and there’s no repercussions.
Put them on a monitor pre trial. Wear the monitor for a year and a half. Pick up new cases if you want and stay free.
Then after 1.5 years, just take a 3 year plea and boom- time considered served. No jail time.
Hold illegal gun offenders accountable, remove violent people from society, and violent crime will drop.
The people carrying the illegal guns are the people doing the murders/shootings. It’s common sense.
Any Illinois citizen, who is not a prohibited person and who complies with relevant laws, may lawfully carry a firearm in public.
When can we expect to see ads for used F-15’s on “Bring a Trailer”?
Kha-wha-mhe Rha-hhul will appeal to Lucifer to delay further rulings.
FOID Cards are also UnConstitutional and all who were required to have them should get monitary reparations from the State of Illinois and ISP, for every year they paid, plus be paid for punative damages for violating their Constitutional Rights. Demand this, 2nd Amendment Supporters. Don’t let them get away with trampling on your Constitutional Rights.
Hell, I cannot get repaid for an illegitimate traffic camera fine. Even after the state says they are unconstitutional? I am just lucky enough to get my paycheck delivered to my bank on time!
I can hardly wait for Prickster and the rest of the IL anti gunners to get spanked hard in the courts and our 2A rights fully restored. I'll celebrate with a new AR10.
