Reinsdorf v Waller
A Cook County judge on Friday ordered Chicago White Sox Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf to be deposed as part of a lawsuit against the team stemming from the August 2023 shooting in the Rate Field bleachers.
Reinsdorf — who’s in the midst of a deal to sell the team he’s owned for more than 40 years — must give sworn testimony by July 31.
An attorney for the White Sox, Robert Shannon, told Judge Sarah Brunson on Friday that the questions for Reinsdorf will likely center around comments he made to the media in the days after the shooting, as well as the team’s decision to not call off the rest of the game after the shooting occurred.
And what would those comments be?
- “They haven’t come to a final conclusion, but have done a lot of investigation,” Reinsdorf previously said. “We have gathered a lot of facts, and, without getting into the detail because I don’t want to influence the police’s decision, but the fact is based upon the information available to us, I see virtually no possibility that the gunshots came from within the ballpark.”
Of course not. because then he's have to admit that security sucked, he was hiring connected individuals and skimping on actual security measures. Not a good look.
But let's see what an actual Police official said, someone (allegedly) trained in investigative techniques and familiar with the rules of evidence:
However, that same week, [interim Superintendent] Waller told reporters:
“We’re dispelling a lot of things … (A shot) coming from outside is something we’ve almost completely dispelled. We’re still looking at every avenue. It’s still under investigation. Something from inside, it could’ve happened that way. We’re looking at every avenue, exploring every lead and everything that we can get.”
So either someone misunderstood what they were being told (Reinsdorf) or someone is selling Waller down the river (Reinsdorf). Either way, Fred doesn't look good.
And you'll recall some of the posts we made - the physics involved, the imaginary ShotSpotter readings from miles away, the scorch mark on the weapon smuggler's belly, etc. Did anyone ever see if the CPS employee had a gun purchase in her background?

There is no way these two bullets came from outside of the Park. And anyone claiming this is soft as puppy $hit. The gunshot residue shows firearm was within arms length of the two persons that were struck. And the facts of the case are not being released by the Park or Detective supplemental reports. And I can confirm being in both baseball parks in Chicago while being strapped. There is no security. It’s a soft target….It looks good but it’s just smoke and mirrors.

It would be easy to find out if the CPS teacher had a vaild FOID card prior to the incident(LIE) at comiskey park. A search by ISP can find out if she completed an ATF form 4473 to purchase a firearm prior to the big lie. An investigation can then be initiated to find out which FFL location/Store ran her background to get an approval for her to purchase a firearm. Then a visit by LE can view the form she filled out for the purchase. Then it can be shown that the gun she purchased is the same caliber that she and her fellow CPS teacher were hit by.
This will end her lie . It will also show that a firearm can and has been brought thru the metal detectors.

A 42 year old woman was shot thru the right thigh, another 26 year old woman was grazed in the abdomen and the spent round was found in the hoodie of a third woman. The current theory is that the 42 year old woman had the gun on her person when it accidentally discharged. Ironically she is the one who has brought the civil suit against the White Sox, the Illinois Sports Facility Authority, and the team's security company.

answer to the last question = he was a rat who gave information on those under him to the feds
BEFORE the shooting, off-duty/retired coppers would go into the security office behind home plate and lock up their weapons.
They would then be allowed to go up on the elevators to go to their seats WITHOUT going through any metal detectors.
I would meet old Jerry on the elevator many times.
NOW, after the shooting, you go in, lock your weapon up, and are told to GO OUTSIDE. You then enter the ball park with the general public so that you must go through the metal detector.
WHY has this changed?
Because everyone knows how coppers are.
Some would have a second handgun concealed and they would not lock it up. Some would just pretend they were locking up their handgun.
NOW, you must go through the detectors when you are done.
The fact is, this procedure changed because the White Sox brass knew for a fact that a weapon was brought INSIDE the ballpark and was discharged.

well,,,, he did plead guilty after the 2nd investigation, not done by democRATic controlled politicians and gold stars, indicted him, and uncle paid for him to do his little time in another (mostly white) county jail because he didn't wanna be raped in Cook County jail
