An accused serial killer, tied to half a dozen murders across the southwest side, has a strange connection to the Officer Vasquez Lasso murder.
His mother (who raised this serial killer) was dating the now-on-trial cop killer and was the one who called 9-1-1 to say she was being chased by her "husband" with a gun.
The entire article is like a badly written soap opera with so many twists and turns we had to read it three or four times.
"Birds of a feather" and all that, but what a f#$%ed up situation.

Don't make excuses for these animals. Many, many people throughout history have succeeded in life despite having shit parenting, no parenting, shit living conditions and many other strikes against them. Human animals like this CHOOSE to become what they become. Fuck them and fuck them all. Back in the days of the Old West a rope tied to a tree branch took care of the problem.
Everyone has that choice to make, to be bad.
Even if choosing to not do bad is the minimum good each one can do.
Free will is that choosing.
Do not do to another what you want no other to do to you.
Those who disregard this, well, karma may well not be instant, yet it has it's duty/obligation/function.
Reminds me of the cop-killing family that was arrested in Indianapolis a few years ago. Son was on parole and just committed an armed robbery. Mom was driving the getaway car. Dad was helping. Son killed an LEO during a routine traffic stop. All three were caught - when they ran Dad's DNA, they were able to close a 10 year old rape case.
