Chill. OG. This is from the Armani SWAT summer line.
SWAT members good for nothing but having hour long standoffs resulting in them missing an actual person! True story lol last year in 005 there was a standoff SWAT was called…. Ended up being hour standoff in which SWAT ended up breaching the door and “cleared” the home claiming they didn’t find anyone. As soon as they left tact walked in and found the offender up in the attic. They were called back on scene just for the swat guys to look bad. Just all hacks

I swear I always sit next to this guy in training. {smdh} This type of copper always likes to tell police stories or talk about his motorcycle. Then when it comes time for scenarios I do all the work and/or talking.
Lollapalozza, the department expects officers to work “undercover” but provides them with marked vehicles to get to and from their jobs. Swat jobs often times require officers to respond from home

Yup, working a covert detail, but issued a marked car. Definitely smarter to wear armor while driving a squad. Looks silly but what can you do. If there are those who are offended by this call the mayor and get them unmarked or covert cars so they can remain secret squirrels. But keep in mind, about 5 years ago, they weren't even issued cars, had to use their personal cars to respond to things off duty. Remember, thus is chicago, where secretaries with guns get better cars than the units that get called out from home.

Cool story. SWAT cleared the house, the attic access was 18” x 18” requiring the officers to take off all gear to squeeze up there like a vietnam tunnel rat. They put the camera pole up there with video feed. There was no flooring, just beams. The PO’s requested CFD thermal but it was not available. TOC (bosses) declared it empty and told the PO’s to exit for the affiant.
When TAC from 005 went in, the offenders foot came through the ceiling, as he had been hiding behind the insulation in the wall. otherwise no one would have found him.
Thanks to that shit show, the city actually got off its ass and bought proper thermal vision for the department.

If you’re referring to the next photo in this post… he purchased items from the merchandise tent while working as a UC. If anything he was doing better than most at Lolla with their jeans, blue line/ sworn oath/finest t shirts and Molle backpacks. Can spot those guys a mile away.

Missouri/Arkansas Ozarks area, pros: Christians, solid red, slower paced, people are friendlier, milder winters, nice in springtime and fall, pro 2nd amendment, good hunting-fishing, low property taxes, not too far from Chicago, the drive is 10-12 hours depending on how you drive.
Cons: Summers can be a a bit uncomfortable, hot and humid, ticks, no public transportation, depending on where you live amenities like shopping and entertainment may be a drive.
These are just off the top of my head. I think Missouri has exemptions on out of state federal, state, and local pensions but there is a $ limit tied to how much social security benefits you receive if you are eligible to collect SS , do your homework for the specifics.
Because the entire dept is d bags it’s hard to be in the same room as the jeep tattoo guys.

These clowns had love handles pouring out the sides. How does their appearance command respect? How effective can one be when fat? You are all wrong. He's in civilian clothes because he is off-duty. Yes he has a take home, marked squad but he drove it so he wouldn't have to pay for parking. He wore the vest in case he got a hand-waiver or possibly an on-view that he couldn't FIDO. He took vest off right after this photo was taken.
But he forgot there's always a camera somewhere that can catch malfeasance anytime, which shows he ain't the real police, only someone in a nice spot who wears the uniform once a year for inspection and collects the paycheck.
He's too skinny to be swat.
And he's not a UC because UCs don't wear big vests outside their clothing.

I'm not a stranger to the "country", but driving through the Ozarks a couple times felt like a scene from the movie Deliverance. Way too backwards and depressed.

Take it easy ralphie boy and co.! All the shooting training in the world isn’t going to change a damn thing. Is it important? Sure. But accidents, like the last one, and traffic stop murders aren’t going away anytime soon! The MINDSET of coppers, especially the new ones coming out, has to change first and foremost! Rah rah speeches and shooting blanks isn’t fixing the core problem!
