F#$% Your Plans

Those family plans that you had in the works for months and months, maybe even a year or more with thousands of dollars out-of-pocket? Yeah, you can forget about them:

• Off topic but just so people know, Hein has taken a red pen to all the To/Froms for next weekend and denied everyone asking to keep their RDOs. In a lot of cases he has approved time due requests where people are out of town with flights and hotels but then denied their RDOs. So basically have fun in Mexico but get new flights and eat the cost of the hotel cancellation so you can be back in time to work your RDOs. 

Or this one:

• I was privy to an email showing everyone that had their To From denied to maintain their rdo and it’s disgusting. Your a bridesmaid for your sisters wedding? Denied. You’re going on a vacation planned three months ago? Denied. Tons of them. Crazy.  

That used to be the great thing about police work and rotating days off - you knew AN ENTIRE YEAR IN ADVANCE what your days off were and could work with your family to schedule big events, like weddings! 

So when the Department tells you that they care about you, your family, your mental well being - especially if you're doing a destination-type once-in-a-lifetime event - THEY'RE LYING!

Meanwhile, people are saying Hein is going to be overseas for the entire duration of days off that everyone else has to show up for?
